Bryan Logo Design

Each and every new Bryan company knows they need a logo, yet few new business owners entirely are aware of the crucial role their logo design can make in their becoming successful, or why one business logo functions far better than another. A business logo has an instant and long-term impact on the success of a company, select the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Bryan businesses succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand consideration, they can be grasped in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will be legible and just as emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo must be timeless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo design of a bike developed for a Bryan coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffee shop were launching in an old section of the city and hoped to cast a nostalgic feel without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished the two jobs by designing a logo design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide as well as bacteria designed for Bryan medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which examines the triggers and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine that deals with the laboratory assessment of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I remember where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Typically I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents quite literally, but it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and even more memorable.

logo style with a leaping environment-friendly frog made for a household enjoyable center in Bryan.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dentists, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to include a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a better enthusiastic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - created for Bryan traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but rather reveal emotional experiences through the images they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of the majority of professional photographers in that they oftentimes tell entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with mere words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Bryan logo but also to show the depth to her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Bryan logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design jobs that I take on I really take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but my customer, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man genuinely disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family did not share his scorn for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage them to talk about it with colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get honest judgements on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logos are a weird animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their logo understand how important a logo design is for their organization so they are much more vested in the outcome. Every logo design job has it’s share of hurdles, but the most significant obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, style for Bryan book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most critical part of a published book considering that it is usually the very first thing a person sees in the bookstore. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will likely ever have to advertise their label and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart but it looks like that in many cases 1 of the items individuals tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small startup commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a good sense of air travel and it was surely a winner.

Bryan logo layout made use of for marketing as well as a tag layout for Vintage Situation includes an old-fashioned typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for musical instruments, which looked to be antique cases. For this brand design I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be utilized for every thing from a web site to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different generation.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Bryan, layout include an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that every single dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the same way dental offices do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would probably include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really love doing dental logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a household not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 personalities startled in height to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that communicated that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to explain specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that explains itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo design produced for a hair layout workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a company logo which carried a feeling of peace and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious direction of crafting simply a stylized orchid but instead created a company logo that suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the logo design using the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is generally the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the emphasis on the feeling that they wanted to project to their customers.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created a unique organization logo design customized to epitomize the unique physical traits of the Arabian breed of horses. By having a different head shape and very high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the highly quite easily identifiable horse lineages in the world.

Las Coffee shop logo layout a tiny dining establishment, layout includes a modified script typeface which floats above a team of ornate lines and also dots.

Logo style for a software application developer the design features and also legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and disk operations. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a connection between the software and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it meant something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the symbolism behind a logo is just as important as how it serves the organization it stands for.

Progress logo design developed for a Bryan interior developer, layout attribute a collection of red circles that intersect as well as replace the letter O in the middle of the logo layout.

A logo style including an angler in the center of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly realized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a location to sell their secondhand items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Bryan logo design dsign using an illustration that garners the attention of traffic and sends an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo style has actually a field incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand idea wasn’t actually designed for an Bryan area farm it was in reality developed for an investments broker, and this logo design was one of many which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was really to make a brand mark that projects esteem, effectiveness, and affluence.
Logo design developed for the use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font that is similar to a well-known sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted loads of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking where I worked closely with the business owner to create a logo design which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
