Channelview, Texas Logo Design

Every new Channelview business person realizes that they require a logo, yet few entrepreneurs fully recognize the vital role their business logo can perform in their financial success, or precisely why one logo design functions better than another. A company logo has an instant and lasting influence on the financial success of a business, choose the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of an organization.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Channelview, Texas businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand scrutiny, they can be understood in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to movie screens a scalable logo will be legible and just as emotive at any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos which operate on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be timeless and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.
Retro logo layout of a bike developed for a Channelview, Texas coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffeehouse were opening up in an older section of the town and wished to cast a nostalgic tone without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I fulfilled the two jobs by means of designing a business logo design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide as well as bacteria developed for Channelview, Texas medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which investigates the triggers and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare which works with the laboratory examination of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I remember in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves quite literally, but it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and more meaningful.

logo layout with a jumping eco-friendly frog designed for a family members fun center in Channelview, Texas.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental offices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a more enthusiastic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and a tree - created for Channelview, Texas travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area because travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but rather project emotional experiences by means of the images they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of almost all good photographers in that they often share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be conveyed with just words. I tried to do something comparable to this logo by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Channelview logo design but also to show the depth in her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Channelview logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design projects that I take on I really savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A but the client, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man seriously despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family did not share his aversion for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage them to share it with friends and family as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get objective point of views on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they adored the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Business logos are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their logo design comprehend how crucial a logo design is for their organization so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo design job possesses it’s share of obstacles, however the most significant challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Channelview, Texas publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin segment of real estate to work with, but it is the most vital part of a published book because it is usually the first thing a person sees in the book store. With regard to a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will likely ever get to promote their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart however it looks like that in many instances one of the items folks often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small fledgling commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a spirit of flight and it was surely a success.

Channelview logo layout made use of for marketing and also a label design for Vintage Instance features an archaic font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be much older cases. For this brand design I tried to come up with a logo that provided a fluid vintage feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different era.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Channelview, Texas, layout consist of an arc with lines converging through it to suggest metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most challenging logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that every single dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business branding, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dentists do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually love doing dentistry logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a family not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 personalities surprised in elevation to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the families in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution hopes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design which communicated that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to explain exactly how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that illustrates itself won’t have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo layout developed for a hair style studio including a script font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo which conveyed a sense of tranquility and class for their new hair salon. I created a concept that didn’t go the obvious course of designing merely a stylized orchid but rather crafted a company logo which suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird floating above the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is oftentimes the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately laid the emphasis on the emotion that they really wanted to forecast to their clients.

Logo design for a software application designer the style features and famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive operations. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection in between the software program and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it represented something to the owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism supporting a logo design is equally as important as how it serves the enterprise it stands for.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly understood the market was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a place to market their pre-owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Channelview logo dsign along with a graphic that grabs the attention of vehicles and projects an image that wakens the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo style has actually a field incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo design wasn’t really designed for an Channelview, Texas regional farm it was actually designed for a products broker, and this creative logo was one of multiple which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was really to make a graphic that projects self-assurance, financial success, and luxury.

Channelview Logo design for a nonprofit, Turning Point Solutions - the logo design feature for externally facing arrow as well as the arrowheads imply that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what kind of logo design that they would like, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the freedom to discover any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s tricky to hit a bullseye in the absence of knowing where the target is. Luckily, in this particular instance, I hit a bullseye with the first shot.

Logo design created for the use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font style that is evocative a popular sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted quite a lot of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked closely with the business owner to create a logo that worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
