Conroe, Texas Logo Design

Each and every new Conroe business knows they are in need of a logo, but few entrepreneurs fully comprehend the key role their logo design will play in their becoming successful, or exactly why one business logo works more effectively than another. A business logo has an instant and long term influence on the prosperity of a business, pick the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the life span of a business.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Conroe, Texas businesses succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these five things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand contemplation, they can be grasped in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will remain legible and equally emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo must be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo design of a bicycle created for a Conroe, Texas coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee bar were opening up in an older part of the city and hoped to visualize a nostalgic tone without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I achieved the two tasks via creating a custom logo design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide as well as bacteria designed for Conroe, Texas medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which investigates the triggers and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine which deals with the clinical evaluation of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the only instance I remember in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more interesting, more attention grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo design with a leaping eco-friendly frog designed for a household fun center in Conroe, Texas.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the types of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental offices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to feature a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a better enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design including a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - created for Conroe, Texas traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality because travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but instead project emotional journeys by means of the images they record. The thought behind this logo design was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of most professional photographers in that they often convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with just words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Conroe logo design but also to show the depth of her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Conroe logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design projects that I take on I seriously relish and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however the client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man really loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family didn’t share his contempt for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage all of them to share it with colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get honest point of views on the benefit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they really loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logo designs are a strange animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their logo design realize how vital a logo is for their company so they are way more vested in the result. Every logo design job has it’s portion of difficulties, however the most significant obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, design for Conroe, Texas publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most crucial part of a published book given that it is ordinarily the initial thing a person views in the bookstore. With regard to a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will likely ever have to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart but it looks like that in many occurrences one of the items people tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young start-up commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a good sense of air travel and it was definitely a winner.

Conroe logo style utilized for advertising and marketing and a label layout for Vintage Situation includes an old-fashioned font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, which looked to be older cases. For this business logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that offered a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another era.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Conroe, Texas, design include an arc with lines converging through it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo projects due to the fact that it appears that each and every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dentists do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I actually love doing dentist logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a family members nonprofit, the logo features 4 personalities startled in elevation to represent a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the folks in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization hopes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to summarize exactly how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that describes itself will never have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo style created for a hair style studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo that projected a feeling of serenity and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious path of creating merely a stylized orchid but rather delivered a logo design that suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the concept using the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is usually the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead put the attention on the emotion that they wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Arabian equine logo design developed for a steed cattle ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian show steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo designed a one-of-a-kind brand concept tailored to exemplify the unique physical traits of the Arabian breed of equines. With an identifiable head shape and high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the most easily identifiable horse types in the whole world.

Las Coffee shop logo style a little restaurant, design includes a modified script font style which hovers over a team of luxuriant lines and dots.

Las Coffee shop logo design a small dining establishment, style contains a customized manuscript font which floats above a team of elaborate lines as well as dots.

Logo layout for a software program developer the style features and renowned element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive managing. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it symbolized something to the owner of the business and in many cases the meaning supporting a business logo is just as important as how it brands the organization it represents.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly understood the market was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a spot to sell their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Conroe business logo dsign with an illustration which garners the interest of traffic and sends an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo design has actually a field integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand idea wasn’t really designed for an Conroe, Texas area farm it was actually developed for an investments broker, and this particular brand was one of many which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to produce an identity that projected trust, effectiveness, and luxury.

Conroe Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo design attribute for externally encountering arrow and also the arrowheads imply that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what kind of logo design they preferred, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it gives a designer the flexibility to investigate any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye in the absence of recognizing where the target is. Thankfully, in this case, I struck a bullseye with the first shot.

Logo design developed for making use of a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font that is reminiscent of a popular sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted quite a lot of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked closely with the business owner to create a logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
