Flower Mound Logo Design

Each and every new Flower Mound venture realizes that they require a logo, however few new business owners thoroughly understand the vital role their logo can perform in their becoming successful, or precisely why one logo design performs far better than another. A logo has a critical and lasting impact on the success of a business, pick the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the longevity of an organization. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Flower Mound companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand contemplation, they can be comprehended in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and equally emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

Retro logo design of a bicycle created for a Flower Mound coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were launching in an old part of the area and wished to cast a vintage feel without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I achieved each of the jobs by means of creating a trademark design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscope slide as well as bacteria made for Flower Mound clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which researches the root causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the field of medicine that deals with the clinical assessment of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I remember where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents very literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more captivating, more interest grabbing and much more memorable.

logo style with a leaping eco-friendly frog developed for a family enjoyable center in Flower Mound.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dentists, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the business features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not really reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a much more dynamic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design including a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and a tree - created for Flower Mound travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche field because travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but rather reveal emotional journeys through the photos they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they frequently convey whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with just words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Flower Mound logo design but also to show the depth to her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Flower Mound logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design projects that I take on I truly savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however the client, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man really loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family didn’t share his contempt for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get neutral judgements on the benefit of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they really liked the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their business logo comprehend how essential a logo design is for their business so they are way more invested in the end result. Every logo job has it’s portion of challenges, but the biggest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Flower Mound publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped piece of real estate to work with, but it really is the most necessary part of a printed book due to the fact that it is in most cases the initial thing a person views in the book store. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity that they will ever have to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart but it seems like that in many occurrences 1 of the things people usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small startup commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a sense of airline flight and it was undoubtedly a winner.

Flower Mound logo style used for marketing as well as a label style for Vintage Instance features an archaic font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be antique cases. For this custom logo design I tried to come up with a logo that had a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be used for every thing from a web page to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another generation.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Flower Mound, layout consist of an arc with lines intersecting with it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that every single dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company branding, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dental professionals do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably have an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really enjoy doing dental logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a design that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family members nonprofit, the logo features 4 personalities staggered in height to represent a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution hopes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to summarize how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that explains itself will never have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo style created for a hair layout workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo design that carried an atmosphere of simplicity and connection for their new hair salon. I created a design that did not go the obvious route of creating just a stylized orchid but alternatively delivered a logo that suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is more often than not the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the importance on the perception that they really wanted to transmit to their customers.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo layout for a software program designer the design attributes and legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive operations. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a bridge between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it symbolized something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the substance supporting a company logo is just as important as how it brands the organization it stands for.

A logo design featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly recognized the market was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to sell their secondhand products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Flower Mound logo design dsign with an image that garners the interest of vehicles and sends an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo design has an area included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo design wasn’t really composed for an Flower Mound regional farm it was really designed for a products broker, and this trademark was one of multiple that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to design a graphic that projected self-assurance, success, and opulence.
Logo design developed for using a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script typeface that is similar to a popular sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed quite a lot of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project in which I worked directly with the owner to create a logo design that worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
