Frisco Logo Design

Every new Frisco venture realizes that they need a logo, however few entrepreneurs entirely realize the key role their business logo will perform in their financial success, or precisely why one business logo functions better than another. A logo design has an instant and long-term impact on the growth of a business, pick the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of an organization. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Frisco companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand deliberation, they can be understood in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will stay legible and equally emotive at any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bike produced for a Frisco coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and bistro were actually launching in an old part of the city and really wanted to cast a retro feel without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I achieved both of these jobs via designing a company logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide as well as bacteria developed for Frisco clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that investigates the root causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which deals with the laboratory assessment of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I recollect in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Typically I try not to be extremely literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents quite literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more captivating, more attention grabbing and a lot more unforgettable.

logo design with a leaping green frog designed for a family enjoyable facility in Frisco.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental professionals, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more dynamic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and also a tree - designed for Frisco traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche field due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but rather reveal emotional journeys through the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they frequently tell entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something much the same to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Frisco logo but also to illustrate the depth to her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Frisco logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design jobs that I take on I honestly relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A but my customer, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man really despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members did not share his contempt for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge all of them to talk about it with colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get unprejudiced viewpoints on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they adored the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their logo design understand how important a logo is for their organization so they are way more vested in the outcome. Every logo job possesses it’s allotment of difficulties, but the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, style for Frisco publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped segment of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most crucial part of a printed book due to the fact that it is in most cases the first thing a person sees in the bookstore. With regard to a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will likely ever get to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go but it looks like that in many cases 1 of the traits consumers often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young startup commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a feeling of flight and it was undoubtedly a victory.

Frisco logo layout used for advertising and marketing and a label design for Vintage Instance includes an antiquated font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be older cases. For this logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid vintage feel to it and could be used for every thing from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another era.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Frisco, style include an arc with lines intersecting via it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can easily be one of the most challenging logo jobs considering that it seems that every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company marketing, if restaurants approached their advertising in the same way dental practitioners do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would probably include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I actually love doing dentist logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 characters startled in height to represent a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to explain specifically how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that illustrates itself will never have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo style developed for a hair design studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo design that related an atmosphere of simplicity and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept that didn’t go the obvious path of creating simply a stylized orchid but instead created a logo that implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl featured into the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is frequently the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately put the attention on the feeling that they really wanted to transmit to their customers.

Arabian equine logo design created for a steed cattle ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian show steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo style for a software program designer the layout functions and also legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and hard drive management. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it intimated something to the owner of the company and in many cases the significance supporting a logo is just as important as how it brands the company it represents.

A logo design including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly knew the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a location to sell off their previously owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Frisco logo design dsign with an image which garners the interest of traffic and projects an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo layout has actually an area included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo concept wasn’t actually designed for an Frisco regional farm it was in reality devised for a products broker, and this company was one of many that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was really to produce a brand mark that projects assurance, financial success, and affluence.
Logo designed for using a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is evocative a renowned sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking where I worked directly with the owner to design a logo that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
