Irving, Texas Logo Design

Nearly every new Irving business person understands that they are in need of a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely comprehend the pivotal role their business logo will play in their becoming successful, or why one logo design performs better than another. A company logo has an immediate and lasting impact on the growth of a company, pick the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the life span of a company.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Irving, Texas businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these 5 features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require consideration, they can be comprehended in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and equally emotive at virtually any size.
  3. Versatility: logos which operate on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo should be enduring and will feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.
Retro logo design of a bike produced for a Irving, Texas coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually opening up in an older section of the area and wanted to project a nostalgic tone without appearing as boring or low energy. I achieved both of these tasks via creating a custom logo concept that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria created for Irving, Texas clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that studies the causes and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine which works with the laboratory assessment of samples of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the sole instance I call to mind in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Normally I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves rather literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more attention grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo design with a leaping environment-friendly frog developed for a family enjoyable center in Irving, Texas.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the types of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not really reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a much more dynamic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo including a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and also a tree - developed for Irving, Texas travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality because travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but rather reveal emotional journeys through the pictures they record. The thought behind this logo design was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they often tell whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be revealed with mere words. I attempted to do something very similar to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Irving logo but also to show the depth to her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Irving logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but my customer, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man really despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members did not share his scorn for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get honest point of views on the value of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they really loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their logo design understand how crucial a logo is for their business so they are much more vested in the outcome. Every logo project possesses it’s portion of challenges, but the greatest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Irving, Texas book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin parcel of real estate to work with, however it really is the most crucial part of a published book considering that it is usually the primary thing a person views in the book store. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will ever get to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go nevertheless it seems that in many instances one of the things folks tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small fledgling commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a feeling of air travel and it was certainly a winner.

Irving logo design utilized for advertising and marketing as well as a tag layout for Vintage Case includes an old font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in all new cases for musical instruments, which seemed to be much older cases. For this logo concept I sought to come up with a logo that offered a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could easily be used for everything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different generation.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Irving, Texas, layout include an arc with lines converging with it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo design jobs considering that it seems that each and every dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business advertising, if restaurants approached their branding in the same way dental practitioners do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would most likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually love doing dental care logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a family nonprofit, the logo includes 4 personalities staggered in height to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to summarize exactly how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo design that describes itself will never have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo design created for a hair style workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo which conveyed an atmosphere of ease and class for their new hair studio. I created a concept that didn’t go the obvious path of designing simply a stylized orchid but instead crafted a logo that implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is more often than not the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the main focus on the perception that they really wanted to project to their patrons.

Logo style for a software application designer the design features and also legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and drive operations. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a connection between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it represented something to the owner of the company and in many cases the symbolism behind a business logo is equally as important as how it serves the enterprise it stands for.

A logo design featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly knew the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to sell their used equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Irving business logo dsign utilizing an illustration which garners the attention of traffic and projects an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo design has actually a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem idea wasn’t actually produced for an Irving, Texas area farm it was really developed for an investments broker, and this company logo was one of multiple that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to generate a brand mark that projects esteem, financial success, and affluence.

Irving Logo design for a not-for-profit, Transforming Factor Solutions - the logo layout function for ostensibly encountering arrow and the arrowheads suggest that it is a ruby form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what type of logo design they preferred, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it offers a designer the freedom to explore any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye in the absence of recognizing where the target is. Thankfully, in this case, I struck a bullseye with the very first go.

Logo created for using an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script typeface that is evocative a famous sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project in which I worked closely with the owner to develop a logo design that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
