Mansfield, Texas Logo Design

Every new Mansfield organization knows they require a logo, yet few new business owners thoroughly recognize the vital role their business logo will play in their success, or the reason that one logo works far better than another. A logo design has a critical and lasting effect on the growth of a business, choose the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of an organization.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Mansfield, Texas companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand scrutiny, they can be understood in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and equally emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos which operate on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be timeless and will feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.
Retro logo layout of a bike developed for a Mansfield, Texas coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and cafe were actually opening up in an old part of the community and really wanted to project a nostalgic tone without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I achieved the two tasks via designing a logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscope slide and germs created for Mansfield, Texas medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which analyzes the causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare which deals with the laboratory assessment of samplings of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I remember where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents rather literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo design with a leaping environment-friendly frog made for a household enjoyable center in Mansfield, Texas.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dentists, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to include a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a better enthusiastic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo including a flock of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and a tree - made for Mansfield, Texas travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche profession because travel photographers don’t capture places or things but instead convey emotional experiences by means of the pictures they record. The thought behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of the majority of good photographers in that they often share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with mere words. I attempted to do something very similar to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Mansfield logo but also to reveal the depth to her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Mansfield logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design projects that I take on I genuinely savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A but the client, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man truly disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his contempt for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get neutral judgements on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his whole family and they loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their business logo realize how important a logo design is for their organization so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo project has it’s portion of obstacles, but the most significant obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, style for Mansfield, Texas book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, but it is the most important part of a published book because it is often the first thing a person views in the book store. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will ever have to spotlight their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart but it seems like that in many occurrences 1 of the aspects individuals often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller fledgling commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a spirit of flight and it was undoubtedly a victory.

Mansfield logo design utilized for advertising and also a tag style for Vintage Instance features an old font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for music instruments, which looked to be vintage cases. For this logo concept I sought to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old style feel to it and could easily be utilized for anything from a website to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different point in time.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Mansfield, Texas, style include an arc with lines intersecting via it to imply steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo design projects considering that it seems that every single dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company marketing, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental practices do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would probably have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I actually love doing dental care logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a layout that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a household not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 personalities staggered in height to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to describe specifically how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If you have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo style developed for a hair design studio including a script font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo which communicated a feeling of peace and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept that did not go the obvious direction of crafting just a stylized orchid but instead crafted a logo that suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the logo design using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is more often than not the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the attention on the feeling that they wanted to forecast to their clients.

Logo style for a software application developer the design features and also legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive operations. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection in between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it meant something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the meaning behind a logo is equally as important as how it brands the organization it stands for.

A logo design featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly realized the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a spot to sell their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Mansfield business logo dsign utilizing an image which garners the interest of traffic and sends an image that wakens the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo design has a field incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo concept wasn’t really created for an Mansfield, Texas regional farm it was in reality designed for a products broker, and this particular brand was one of multiple that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to make an identity that projects esteem, success, and wealth.

Mansfield Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo style feature for outwardly facing arrowhead as well as the arrowheads imply that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what kind of logo design that they would like, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it gives a designer the flexibility to discover any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye in the absence of knowing where exactly the target is. Luckily, in this instance, I hit a bullseye with the very first shot.

Logo designed for using an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font that is evocative a popular sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted loads of restaurant logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the US, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked directly with the proprietor to develop a business logo that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
