Mercedes Logo Design

Every new Mercedes organization knows they are in need of a logo, however few new business owners fully comprehend the key role their company logo will take in their success, or why one logo performs better than another. A company logo has an instant and sustaining impact on the financial success of a business, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of a company. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Mercedes businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand deliberation, they can be realized in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will remain legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo style of a bike created for a Mercedes coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and bistro were actually launching in an old section of the community and hoped to visualize a retro tone without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I accomplished both of these tasks by designing a custom logo design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a ageless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria created for Mercedes clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that examines the causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the field of medicine which works with the laboratory examination of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the only instance I remember where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Typically I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more appealing, more focus grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo layout with a leaping green frog made for a family fun facility in Mercedes.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental experts, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to integrate a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design including a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and also a tree - designed for Mercedes traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality because travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but rather convey emotional experiences by means of the pictures they record. The idea behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they oftentimes tell whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be revealed with mere words. I tried to do something comparable to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Mercedes logo but also to reveal the depth to her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Mercedes logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design projects that I take on I really take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A however my client, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man seriously loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his friends and family did not share his contempt for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage all of them to share it with colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial judgements on the benefit of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they adored the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird creature in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire a professional to design their business logo understand how essential a logo is for their organization so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo design job has it’s allotment of hurdles, however the greatest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, style for Mercedes book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped segment of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most crucial part of a printed book given that it is in most cases the first thing a person sees in the book store. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the opportunity that they will likely ever get to promote their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go yet it seems like that in many occurrences one of the traits people usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young startup commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a feeling of airline flight and it was certainly a winner.

Mercedes logo design made use of for advertising and also a label layout for Vintage Case includes an old-fashioned typeface layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand new cases for music instruments, which appeared to be vintage cases. For this brand design I strove to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different generation.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Mercedes, style include an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging logo design projects due to the fact that it appears that every single dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dentists do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would probably include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually love doing dental business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a family members nonprofit, the logo features 4 personalities staggered in elevation to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design which communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to summarize precisely how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that explains itself won’t have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo design created for a hair design studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a company logo which carried a feeling of serenity and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a design which didn’t go the obvious direction of making simply a stylized orchid but instead designed a company logo which implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is frequently the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately placed the main focus on the perception that they wanted to forecast to their clients.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Cafe logo layout a small restaurant, style includes a customized manuscript font style which hovers above a group of ornate lines as well as dots.

Logo design for a software application designer the layout functions as well as iconic component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and drive operations. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a bridge in between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it symbolized something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the substance supporting a business logo is equally as important as how it brands the business it stands for.

Develop logo design produced for a Mercedes interior designer, design function a series of red circles that converge as well as replace the letter O in the middle of the logo design.

logo style done for Advanced Management Solutions, the personalities for letter V as well as A in middle of words progressed have been customized to link directly right into words below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Mercedes logo design assignment was undertaken for a leadership specialist that aids business professionals to develop into more efficient at handling people, expectations, and profitability.

A logo style featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly understood the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a location to sell off their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Mercedes logo dsign with an illustration that garners the interest of vehicles and sends an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo layout has a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo design wasn’t actually created for an Mercedes area farm it was really devised for a products broker, and this particular creative logo was one of multiple that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was really to develop a graphic that projected self-assurance, success, and luxury.
Logo made for the use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font style that is reminiscent of a well-known sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created dozens of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked directly with the business owner to create a business logo that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
