North Richland Hills, Texas Logo Design

Virtually every new North Richland Hills company realizes that they need a logo, yet few new business owners entirely realize the key role their business logo will play in their financial success, or exactly why one business logo performs far better than another. A logo has an immediate and lasting effect on the growth of a business, choose the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of an organization.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help North Richland Hills, Texas businesses prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these five features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand deliberation, they can be understood in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design needs to be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo design of a bike produced for a North Richland Hills, Texas coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and cafe were actually launching in an old section of town and wished to cast an old-fashioned tone without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled each of the tasks by means of designing a business logo design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs made for North Richland Hills, Texas clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that investigates the triggers and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare which deals with the laboratory evaluation of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I remember in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Usually I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves rather literally, however it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more appealing, more interest grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping green frog designed for a family fun facility in North Richland Hills, Texas.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental offices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to incorporate a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a better lively high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design including a flock of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and a tree - developed for North Richland Hills, Texas traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche profession because travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but rather communicate emotional experiences through the images they record. The idea behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of the majority of good photographers in that they oftentimes convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something much the same to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  North Richland Hills logo design but also to show the depth in her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

North Richland Hills logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design projects that I take on I seriously take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A but the customer, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man seriously hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his aversion for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage all of them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get unprejudiced point of views on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to create their business logo recognize how important a logo design is for their company so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo project has it’s portion of difficulties, but the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, layout for North Richland Hills, Texas book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, however it is the most crucial part of a published book given that it is ordinarily the primary thing a person sees in the book store. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will likely ever get to advertise their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it seems that in many occurrences one of the aspects people usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller new venture commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to confering a good sense of flight and it was certainly a winner.

North Richland Hills logo layout used for marketing as well as a tag design for Vintage Instance includes an old-fashioned font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in new cases for musical instruments, which appeared to be antique cases. For this business logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that provided a fluid vintage feel to it and could be used for everything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different point in time.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in North Richland Hills, Texas, style include an arc with lines intersecting with it to indicate steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can be one of the most challenging logo projects due to the fact that it appears that almost every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dentists do every one of their logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would most likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I really love doing dental care logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a family members nonprofit, the logo includes 4 characters startled in elevation to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be far too literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that communicated that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to describe exactly how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that explains itself will never have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo design produced for a hair design workshop including a script font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo design that projected a sense of tranquility and class for their new hair salon. I created a concept that didn’t go the obvious course of creating merely a stylized orchid but instead crafted a business logo that implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the logo design using the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is in most cases the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the emphasis on the perception that they wanted to forecast to their customers.

Logo layout for a software program developer the layout attributes and iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and disk managing. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection in between the software program and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism supporting a logo is just as important as how it serves the enterprise it stands for.

A logo style featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly understood the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a location to market their secondhand goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their North Richland Hills logo design dsign with an image that garners the attention of traffic and sends an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo layout has actually an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand concept wasn’t actually developed for an North Richland Hills, Texas area farm it was in reality devised for a products broker, and this particular creative logo was one of multiple that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to create a graphic that projects assurance, financial success, and prosperity.

North Richland Hills Logo design for a not-for-profit, Turning Point Solutions - the logo style function for externally facing arrowhead and the arrowheads imply that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what type of logo design they desired, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it grants a designer the liberty to investigate any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye in the absence of understanding where the target is. Thankfully, in this case, I nailed a bullseye with the 1st go.

Logo design made for using an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font style that is similar to a famous sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed loads of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project in which I worked directly with the owner to design a logo which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
