Pampa Logo Design

Every new Pampa venture knows they are in need of a logo, but few new business owners thoroughly recognize the key role their business logo can take in their financial success, or exactly why one logo design functions better than another. A logo design has a critical and long term effect on the success of a company, choose the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the longevity of an organization. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Pampa companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand consideration, they can be understood in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo needs to be timeless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bike created for a Pampa coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffee shop were launching in an older part of town and really wanted to cast a vintage vibe without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I achieved each of the tasks by means of designing a company logo design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo design with a microscope slide and also germs made for Pampa clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that examines the causes and effects of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare that works with the clinical evaluation of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the sole instance I call to mind in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves very literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more appealing, more focus grabbing and a lot more meaningful.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog developed for a family fun facility in Pampa.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the types of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental professionals, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more lively high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and also a tree - made for Pampa traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche profession because travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but rather convey emotional journeys through the images they record. The thought behind this logo design was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of almost all professional photographers in that they often tell entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with just words. I tried to do something much the same to this logo by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Pampa logo design but also to illustrate the depth in her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Pampa logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design projects that I take on I honestly savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A however the customer, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man really hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members did not share his hatred for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage all of them to discuss it with friends and family members as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral judgements on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they really loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their logo recognize how important a logo is for their business so they are much more invested in the outcome. Every logo project possesses it’s portion of hurdles, however the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, design for Pampa book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin slice of real estate to work with, but it really is the most vital part of a published book because it is ordinarily the primary thing a person sees in the book shop. For a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will ever get to spotlight their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go however it seems like that in many cases one of the aspects people usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest startup commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a spirit of air travel and it was undoubtedly a success.

Pampa logo layout utilized for marketing as well as a label style for Vintage Case features an old typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, which looked to be vintage cases. For this business logo design I strove to come up with a logo that provided a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a website to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another generation.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Pampa, layout include an arc with lines intersecting with it to imply metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design jobs due to the fact that it seems that every single dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the very same way dental practices do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really enjoy doing dentistry business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a family members nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 personalities surprised in height to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to illustrate how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout developed for a hair design workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a company logo which communicated a feeling of serenity and connection for their new hair studio. I created a concept which didn’t go the obvious course of making just a stylized orchid but alternatively crafted a company logo which implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the concept using the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is usually the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately placed the importance on the feeling that they really wanted to transmit to their customers.

Logo layout for a software application developer the layout functions and also legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and drive operations. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a bridge between the software program and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it symbolized something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the meaning supporting a logo is equally as important as how it serves the organization it stands for.

Progress logo style produced for a Pampa interior developer, style attribute a series of red circles that converge and also change the letter O in the center of the logo design.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

A logo layout featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly recognized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a location to sell off their pre-owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Pampa logo design dsign with a graphic that seizes the interest of traffic and sends an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo design has actually a field integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand design wasn’t actually created for an Pampa regional farm it was actually created for a commodities broker, and this particular business logo was one of many which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was to develop a graphic that projected self-assurance, effectiveness, and luxury.
Logo designed for the use of a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font that is similar to a popular sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed quite a lot of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked closely with the proprietor to create a logo which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
