Paris Logo Design

Virtually every new Paris organization understands that they are in need of a logo, yet few new business owners thoroughly understand the crucial role their organization logo can take in their success, or the reason that one logo design performs better than another. A business logo has an immediate and lasting impact on the growth of a business, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the life span of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Paris businesses succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand contemplation, they can be realized in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will be legible and equally emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle produced for a Paris coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening in an older section of the community and wanted to project a retro tone without coming across as boring or low energy. I fulfilled both tasks via designing a business logo design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo style with a microscope slide as well as bacteria developed for Paris clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that analyzes the triggers and effects of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare that works with the clinical assessment of specimens of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the sole instance I call to mind where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Typically I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more interesting, more interest grabbing and even more memorable.

logo design with a leaping green frog designed for a household enjoyable facility in Paris.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, as well as a tree - made for Paris traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but rather project emotional journeys through the images they record. The thought behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they often share entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Paris logo design but also to show the depth to her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Paris logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design jobs that I take on I honestly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but my customer, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy really loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his scorn for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get objective assessments on the worthiness of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they really liked the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logos are a strange creature in the design world because the people that tend to hire an expert to create their business logo realize how important a logo is for their organization so they are much more invested in the end result. Every logo project possesses it’s share of challenges, however the most significant challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, design for Paris publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow piece of real estate to work with, but it is the most critical part of a published book given that it is in most cases the initial thing a person views in the book store. Regarding a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will ever get to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go however it looks like that in many occurrences one of the things folks tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young fledgling commuter/shuttle airline situated in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a spirit of airline flight and it was surely a winner.

Paris logo design made use of for advertising and marketing and a label style for Vintage Situation features an archaic font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be much older cases. For this brand concept I tried to come up with a logo that had a fluid retro feel to it and could easily be utilized for anything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different era.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Paris, layout consist of an arc with lines converging through it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can be one of the most challenging logo projects because it appears that every dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the exact same way dental practices do every one of their logo designs would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would most likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually love doing dentistry logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and subsequently I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family members nonprofit, the logo design features 4 personalities surprised in elevation to represent a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the folks in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to illustrate precisely how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo design that illustrates itself will never have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo layout created for a hair design studio featuring a script font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a company logo which related a spirit of contentment and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious route of designing simply a stylized orchid but alternatively crafted a company logo which suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is frequently the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the main focus on the perception that they really wanted to forecast to their clients.

Logo layout for a software designer the layout features as well as legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and drive managing. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a bridge between the software program and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it represented something to the owner of the business and in many cases the significance supporting a logo design is just as important as how it serves the organization it represents.

A logo design featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly recognized the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a spot to sell off their pre-owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Paris logo dsign using a graphic that garners the interest of vehicles and sends an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo design has actually an area integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo design wasn’t actually composed for an Paris regional farm it was actually designed for a commodities broker, and this particular logo was one of many that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was really to develop a graphic that projected self-assurance, success, and prosperity.
Logo design designed for using a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font style that is reminiscent of a popular sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed quite a lot of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked closely with the business owner to develop a logo that worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
