Round Rock, Texas Logo Design

Every new Round Rock company knows they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs thoroughly recognize the pivotal role their organization logo can take in their becoming successful, or why one logo design functions far better than another. A business logo has a critical and sustaining influence on the growth of a business, choose the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of a company.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Round Rock, Texas companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require consideration, they can be comprehended in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will be legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo layout of a bike created for a Round Rock, Texas coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually opening in an older part of the city and hoped to project a vintage feel without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I achieved the two jobs via developing a logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide as well as bacteria created for Round Rock, Texas medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that examines the causes and effects of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare which deals with the clinical assessment of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Generally I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents rather literally, yet it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more interesting, more interest grabbing and more memorable.

logo layout with a jumping green frog created for a household enjoyable center in Round Rock, Texas.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to include a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a better enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - developed for Round Rock, Texas travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but instead project emotional experiences through the images they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they frequently tell entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with mere words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Round Rock logo but also to show the depth of her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Round Rock logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design jobs that I take on I seriously savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but the client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy truly disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his contempt for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge them to share it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get impartial point of views on the value of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his whole family and they loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a weird creature in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their business logo recognize how essential a logo is for their business so they are way more invested in the end result. Every logo project has it’s share of challenges, however the biggest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Round Rock, Texas book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most essential part of a printed book due to the fact that it is ordinarily the very first thing a person views in the book shop. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the opportunity they will likely ever get to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart but it looks like that in many instances one of the aspects folks often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest startup commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a spirit of flight and it was surely a success.

Round Rock logo design made use of for advertising and a tag design for Vintage Case includes an archaic font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, which looked to be vintage cases. For this custom logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another era.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Round Rock, Texas, style consist of an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs because it seems that virtually every dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I actually love doing dentist logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 characters startled in height to represent a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo design which communicated that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to describe exactly how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that explains itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo design created for a hair layout workshop including a script font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a business logo which projected a spirit of peace and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept which didn’t go the obvious route of crafting simply a stylized orchid but rather crafted a logo design that implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is generally the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the emphasis on the feeling that they really wanted to project to their clients.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Coffee shop logo style a small restaurant, layout contains a customized manuscript typeface which hovers above a team of luxuriant lines as well as dots.

Logo layout for a software programmer the design functions and renowned aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive management. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it meant something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the symbolism supporting a business logo is just as important as how it brands the enterprise it stands for.

logo layout provided for Advanced Leadership Solutions, the characters for letter V and A in middle of words progressed have actually been customized to connect straight right into words below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Round Rock, Texas logo design assignment was done for a management specialist that assists business leaders to develop into more successful at handling people, expectations, and productivity.
A logo design including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly realized the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a place to sell off their pre-owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Round Rock business logo dsign with an illustration which garners the interest of vehicles and projects an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo layout has an area integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem design wasn’t really produced for an Round Rock, Texas regional farm it was actually devised for an investments broker, and this particular business logo was one of multiple that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was to create an identity that projects self-confidence, success, and opulence.

Round Rock Logo design for a nonprofit, Turning Factor Solutions - the logo design function for outwardly facing arrowhead and also the arrowheads indicate that it is a ruby form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what kind of logo design that they wanted, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the freedom to investigate any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye in the absence of recognizing where exactly the target is. Thankfully, in this particular case, I nailed a bullseye with the 1st shot.

Logo design developed for making use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script typeface that is evocative a renowned sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked directly with the owner to develop a logo which worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
