Schertz Logo Design

Each and every new Schertz business understands that they are in need of a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely are aware of the essential role their company logo can take in their becoming successful, or exactly why one logo design works more effectively than another. A logo design has an immediate and lasting impact on the prosperity of a business, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Schertz businesses prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand consideration, they can be comprehended in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will remain legible and just as emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo style of a bicycle developed for a Schertz coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee shop were opening in an old part of the town and wanted to cast a vintage vibe without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I achieved both tasks by means of designing a symbol concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and germs made for Schertz medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that researches the root causes and consequences of diseases, especially the branch of medicine which deals with the clinical evaluation of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the sole instance I call to mind in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Usually I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more interesting, more interest grabbing and much more memorable.

logo style with a leaping environment-friendly frog created for a household fun facility in Schertz.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental experts, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a much more lively high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and a tree - made for Schertz traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead reveal emotional experiences through the images they capture. The thought behind this logo design was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of almost all good photographers in that they often convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be communicated with mere words. I made an effort to do something the same to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Schertz logo but also to illustrate the depth of her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Schertz logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design jobs that I take on I seriously enjoy and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but my customer, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man truly hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family didn’t share his scorn for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage all of them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get unbiased point of views on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his whole family and they really liked the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to design their business logo understand how essential a logo design is for their company so they are much more vested in the final result. Every logo design job possesses it’s portion of obstacles, but the most significant obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Schertz publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender slice of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most crucial part of a printed book due to the fact that it is in most cases the very first thing a person views in the book store. With respect to a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will likely ever get to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart but it looks like that in many cases 1 of the traits folks tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller new venture commuter/shuttle airline situated in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a spirit of air travel and it was certainly a success.

Schertz logo layout utilized for marketing and a label design for Vintage Case includes an old-fashioned font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for musical instruments, which looked to be older cases. For this brand concept I strove to come up with a logo that offered a fluid old style feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a web site to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different generation.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Schertz, style consist of an arc with lines converging with it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can easily be one of the most difficult logo projects due to the fact that it seems that every dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business branding, if dining establishments approached their branding in the very same way dental professionals do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would most likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I actually love doing dentist business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a layout that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a household nonprofit, the logo features 4 characters surprised in height to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution hopes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo which communicated that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to summarize how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If you have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself won’t have the chance to be understood.

Logo design created for a hair design workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a business logo which communicated a sense of tranquility and connection for their new hair studio. I created a concept that didn’t go the obvious route of crafting simply a stylized orchid but rather delivered a company logo which implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the logo design using the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is in most cases the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead put the emphasis on the perception that they really wanted to transmit to their clients.

Arabian horse logo layout developed for a steed ranch that specializes in reproducing Arabian show equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo layout a tiny dining establishment, style consists of a changed script typeface which floats over a group of luxuriant lines and dots.

Logo style for a software developer the style features as well as famous component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk managing. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge in between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism supporting a logo is equally as important as how it brands the organization it represents.

Advance logo style created for a Schertz indoor developer, design function a series of red circles that converge as well as replace the letter O in the middle of the logo style.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

logo style done for Advanced Management Solutions, the personalities for letter V as well as A in middle of the word advanced have been modified to tie directly right into words below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This Schertz logo design job was carried out for a management advisor that aids business leaders to become more successful at overseeing people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo style including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly recognized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a location to market their secondhand goods to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Schertz business logo dsign using an illustration that garners the interest of vehicles and sends an image that wakens the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo style has an area integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo design wasn’t actually produced for an Schertz area farm it was in reality devised for a commodities broker, and this particular creative logo was one of several which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to make a graphic that projects assurance, success, and luxury.
Logo created for making use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript typeface that is similar to a well-known sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed loads of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked directly with the owner to design a logo that worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
