Seguin Logo Design

Virtually every new Seguin company knows they need a logo, yet few new business owners entirely realize the essential role their organization logo will take in their becoming successful, or precisely why one business logo functions far better than another. A logo has a critical and lasting influence on the success of a business, choose the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the life of an organization. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Seguin companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand deliberation, they can be grasped in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will stay legible and equally emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo should be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from now.

Retro logo style of a bike developed for a Seguin coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and bistro were opening in an older part of the area and wanted to cast an old-fashioned vibe without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished each of the tasks via designing a business logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria made for Seguin medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which analyzes the root causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare which deals with the clinical evaluation of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I call to mind in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be extremely literal with a design and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, but it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more appealing, more interest grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog developed for a family members fun facility in Seguin.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental offices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more lively high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a group of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - designed for Seguin travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead convey emotional journeys through the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they oftentimes convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be communicated with mere words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Seguin logo design but also to show the depth to her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Seguin logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design projects that I take on I seriously relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A however the customer, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy really despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his contempt for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage all of them to talk about it with colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial judgements on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they really liked the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their logo recognize how important a logo design is for their business so they are much more invested in the final result. Every logo design job has it’s share of obstacles, but the largest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, design for Seguin book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin segment of real estate to work with, but it really is the most critical part of a published book because it is often the primary thing a person sees in the book shop. With respect to a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will ever have to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go nevertheless it looks like that in many cases 1 of the aspects people tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their business logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a spirit of air travel and it was definitely a victory.

Seguin logo layout used for marketing and also a tag layout for Vintage Instance features an old-fashioned font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for musical instruments, which seemed to be much older cases. For this custom logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that provided a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different era.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Seguin, style consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to indicate steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can be one of the most challenging logo design jobs considering that it appears that virtually every dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business branding, if dining establishments approached their branding in the very same way dentists do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually love doing dentistry logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and ultimately I created a design that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a household not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 personalities surprised in elevation to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to explain specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that illustrates itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo style developed for a hair layout studio including a script font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a company logo that conveyed a spirit of tranquility and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a design which did not go the obvious path of making simply a stylized orchid but alternatively created a logo which suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the concept using the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is frequently the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the emphasis on the feeling that they really wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Logo style for a software application developer the style features and famous aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive management. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it represented something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the meaning supporting a company logo is just as important as how it serves the organization it represents.

Evolve logo layout developed for a Seguin interior designer, design function a series of red circles that intersect and replace the letter O in the middle of the logo style.

A logo design including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly understood the market was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a place to sell off their pre-owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Seguin logo design dsign along with an illustration that grabs the interest of traffic and projects an image that calls to mind the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo design wasn’t actually produced for an Seguin regional farm it was in reality developed for a commodities broker, and this company logo was one of a handful of that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was really to produce an identity that projected assurance, success, and affluence.
Logo design made for the use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script typeface that is similar to a renowned sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created loads of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked closely with the owner to design a logo design that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
