Stephenville Logo Design

Each and every new Stephenville business knows they need a logo, but few entrepreneurs thoroughly realize the crucial role their business logo can make in their financial success, or the reason that one logo performs more effectively than another. A logo has an immediate and long-term influence on the prosperity of a company, select the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Stephenville companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require deliberation, they can be grasped in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will be legible and equally emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bike developed for a Stephenville coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were opening in an old part of the area and really wanted to visualize a vintage tone without appearing as boring or low energy. I achieved both tasks by means of creating a business logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide as well as germs designed for Stephenville medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that investigates the causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare that works with the laboratory evaluation of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the sole instance I recollect in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves rather literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and a lot more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping green frog made for a family fun facility in Stephenville.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dentists, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to feature a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a group of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and also a tree - created for Stephenville traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality because travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but instead project emotional experiences through the images they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they oftentimes convey entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with mere words. I made an effort to do something the same to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Stephenville logo but also to show the depth of her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Stephenville logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design jobs that I take on I honestly savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A however the customer, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy truly loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his friends and family did not share his contempt for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage all of them to share it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial judgements on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they adored the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logos are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that tend to hire an expert to create their logo comprehend how vital a logo is for their company so they are way more invested in the final result. Every logo project has it’s portion of obstacles, however the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, style for Stephenville book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped slice of real estate to work with, however it really is the most crucial part of a printed book since it is in most cases the primary thing a person sees in the bookstore. Regarding a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will likely ever get to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart yet it seems that in many occurrences 1 of the items individuals often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest new venture commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a sense of air travel and it was surely a victory.

Stephenville logo layout utilized for advertising and marketing as well as a tag layout for Vintage Case features an archaic typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, that appeared to be much older cases. For this business logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old style feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another generation.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Stephenville, layout consist of an arc with lines converging via it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo projects considering that it seems that almost every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental professionals do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really enjoy doing dentist business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a household nonprofit, the logo design features 4 personalities surprised in height to represent a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization hopes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to illustrate specifically how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that describes itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo layout created for a hair style workshop including a script font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a business logo that projected a feeling of peace and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a design that didn’t go the obvious path of designing just a stylized orchid but instead delivered a logo design that implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the concept using the figure of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is oftentimes the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the main focus on the emotion that they wanted to project to their customers.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo design for a software program designer the style features as well as iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and hard drive managing. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a bridge in between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it symbolized something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the meaning behind a business logo is equally as important as how it serves the organization it stands for.

Evolve logo style created for a Stephenville interior developer, style function a collection of red circles that converge and change the letter O in the center of the logo layout.

A logo layout featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly knew the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a spot to market their previously owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Stephenville business logo dsign using a graphic that garners the interest of vehicles and sends an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo design has actually an area integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo concept wasn’t really created for an Stephenville regional farm it was actually developed for an investments broker, and this particular trademark was one of a handful of that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to make a graphic that projected self-assurance, effectiveness, and luxury.
Logo made for using an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript typeface that is reminiscent of a well-known sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed dozens of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked directly with the owner to design a logo that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
