Temple Logo Design

Every new Temple company understands that they are in need of a logo, but few entrepreneurs fully recognize the pivotal role their company logo can play in their financial success, or the reason that one business logo works more effectively than another. A company logo has a critical and long-term influence on the growth of a company, pick the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, select the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of an organization. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Temple companies succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand consideration, they can be comprehended in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will stay legible and just as emotive at virtually any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.

Retro logo design of a bike developed for a Temple coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and cafe were opening up in an older part of the town and hoped to cast a vintage feel without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I achieved both jobs by creating a trademark design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria made for Temple medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that investigates the causes and effects of diseases, mainly the field of medicine which works with the clinical examination of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the only instance I call to mind where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents rather literally, yet it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more interesting, more focus grabbing and more meaningful.

logo style with a jumping eco-friendly frog designed for a family fun center in Temple.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental offices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to integrate a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more dynamic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - created for Temple travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but rather convey emotional experiences by means of the pictures they record. The thought behind this logo design was to make use of negative space to project more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of most professional photographers in that they oftentimes tell whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be communicated with just words. I tried to do something very similar to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Temple logo but also to illustrate the depth of her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Temple logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design projects that I take on I truly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A however my customer, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy genuinely loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family did not share his scorn for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge them to share it with friends and family members as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get unprejudiced assessments on the benefit of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his whole family and they adored the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Business logos are a strange animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their logo realize how vital a logo is for their organization so they are way more invested in the outcome. Every logo design project possesses it’s share of obstacles, but the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Temple book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped parcel of real estate to work with, but it is the most essential part of a published book because it is in most cases the primary thing a person views in the book shop. Regarding a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity they will likely ever have to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it seems that in many instances one of the traits folks tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small startup commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their business logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a good sense of air travel and it was surely a victory.

Temple logo style made use of for advertising and a label layout for Vintage Situation features an old typeface layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, that looked to be vintage cases. For this custom logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that offered a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a website to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different point in time.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Temple, layout include an arc with lines intersecting via it to indicate steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo projects due to the fact that it seems that virtually every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business marketing, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dentists do every one of their logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really love doing dental care business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and subsequently I created a design that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family members nonprofit, the logo features 4 characters surprised in elevation to represent a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo design that communicated that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to describe precisely how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If you have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo style produced for a hair layout workshop including a script font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a business logo which related an atmosphere of contentment and connection for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept that didn’t go the obvious direction of making merely a stylized orchid but rather crafted a logo design which implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the logo design using the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the image itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is oftentimes the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the importance on the feeling that they really wanted to project to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo design for a software designer the design features and also famous component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive managing. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it meant something to the owner of the business and in many cases the substance behind a company logo is just as important as how it serves the business it stands for.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly realized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a location to market their secondhand products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Temple logo dsign utilizing an image that pulls in the attention of vehicles and projects an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo style has actually an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo design wasn’t really designed for an Temple area farm it was really devised for an investments broker, and this particular company was one of several which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to generate a graphic that projected esteem, financial success, and wealth.
Logo developed for using a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font that is similar to a famous sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked directly with the proprietor to develop a logo design which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
