Victoria, Texas Logo Design

Each and every new Victoria organization knows they are in need of a logo, yet few new business owners thoroughly grasp the essential role their logo will play in their financial success, or the reason that one business logo performs better than another. A logo design has an instant and long term impact on the growth of a company, select the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the life span of an organization.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Victoria, Texas companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require contemplation, they can be comprehended in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from labels to movie screens a scalable logo will stay legible and just as emotive at virtually any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be lasting and will feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.
Retro logo style of a bike produced for a Victoria, Texas coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually opening in an old part of the town and wished to visualize a vintage feel without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I achieved both of these jobs via designing a business logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide and also bacteria designed for Victoria, Texas clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that studies the root causes and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine that works with the clinical evaluation of specimens of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the only instance I remember in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Usually I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents rather literally, however it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo design with a leaping eco-friendly frog made for a family members enjoyable center in Victoria, Texas.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the business features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to include a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a better dynamic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a group of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and also a tree - created for Victoria, Texas traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche field due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but rather reveal emotional experiences through the pictures they record. The idea behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of almost all professional photographers in that they frequently share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something much the same to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Victoria logo but also to show the depth to her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Victoria logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design jobs that I take on I seriously savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A however the customer, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man really hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members did not share his contempt for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage all of them to share it with friends and family as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get objective assessments on the benefit of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they really liked the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to create their logo design comprehend how vital a logo design is for their business so they are much more vested in the final result. Every logo job possesses it’s share of hurdles, but the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, design for Victoria, Texas book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most critical part of a published book due to the fact that it is ordinarily the primary thing a person views in the bookstore. For a publishing company, it’s the opportunity they will ever get to promote their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart nevertheless it seems that in many occurrences 1 of the aspects individuals usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a spirit of airline flight and it was surely a winner.

Victoria logo design utilized for advertising and marketing and also a tag layout for Vintage Instance includes an old-fashioned font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be antique cases. For this custom logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that offered a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be used for every thing from a web page to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different era.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Victoria, Texas, style include an arc with lines converging via it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging logo design jobs considering that it appears that every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dental practices do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would probably contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really love doing dental logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a family not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 characters staggered in height to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution hopes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to summarize how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo design developed for a hair design workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo design that conveyed a sense of relaxation and connection for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious route of creating simply a stylized orchid but alternatively delivered a company logo which suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is more often than not the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the focus on the emotion that they wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Logo style for a software programmer the style functions and iconic aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and drive operations. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the symbolism behind a logo is just as important as how it serves the company it represents.

A logo layout including an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly recognized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a location to sell their secondhand items to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Victoria logo dsign using an illustration which captures the interest of traffic and sends an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo layout has actually a field incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand idea wasn’t really composed for an Victoria, Texas regional farm it was really designed for a products broker, and this particular creative logo was one of multiple which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. Victoria Logo design for a nonprofit, Turning Factor Solutions - the logo style function for outwardly facing arrowhead as well as the arrowheads imply that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what kind of logo design that they desired, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it grants a designer the flexibility to delve into any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye without realizing where the target is. Luckily, in this case, I nailed a bullseye with the 1st try.

Logo designed for the use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript typeface that is similar to a renowned sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created dozens of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project in which I worked directly with the owner to create a logo which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
