White Settlement Logo Design

Each and every new White Settlement company understands that they require a logo, yet few entrepreneurs thoroughly grasp the crucial role their logo design can take in their financial success, or exactly why one business logo functions more effectively than another. A logo has an instant and lasting effect on the prosperity of a company, go with the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of a company. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help White Settlement businesses succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require consideration, they can be comprehended in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will continue to be legible and just as emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo needs to be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle developed for a White Settlement coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and cafe were opening up in an older section of the city and hoped to cast a vintage vibe without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I achieved both of these tasks by means of creating a logo design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and also germs made for White Settlement clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that examines the triggers and outcomes of diseases, especially the field of medicine that deals with the clinical examination of samples of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the only instance I recollect in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves rather literally, however it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more appealing, more interest grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo style with a leaping green frog developed for a family fun center in White Settlement.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental professionals, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to incorporate a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a much more dynamic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - made for White Settlement traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but instead convey emotional experiences through the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of almost all professional photographers in that they often share whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be revealed with mere words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  White Settlement logo design but also to show the depth of her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

White Settlement logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design jobs that I take on I really enjoy and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but my client, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man truly despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members didn’t share his aversion for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage them to share it with friends and family members as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial viewpoints on the value of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they really liked the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a weird creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to create their logo understand how crucial a logo design is for their business so they are way more vested in the end result. Every logo project has it’s share of difficulties, but the greatest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, design for White Settlement publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, but it is the most necessary part of a printed book because it is in most cases the initial thing a person views in the bookstore. For a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will likely ever get to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart but it seems like that in many instances 1 of the aspects consumers usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest new venture commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a sense of air travel and it was definitely a winner.

White Settlement logo layout utilized for advertising and marketing and a label layout for Vintage Situation features an old font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, which looked to be much older cases. For this logo design I tried to come up with a logo that offered a fluid retro feel to it and could be used for everything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different generation.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in White Settlement, layout consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can be one of the most difficult logo projects due to the fact that it seems that virtually every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the same way dental offices do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I actually love doing dentist logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 personalities surprised in height to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the folks in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design which communicated that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to summarize specifically how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo design that illustrates itself won’t have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo style developed for a hair layout studio including a script font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo design that carried a sense of calmness and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept which didn’t go the obvious course of designing merely a stylized orchid but rather delivered a logo that implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird floating above the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is usually the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead placed the importance on the feeling that they really wanted to project to their clients.

Logo style for a software application designer the layout features as well as renowned element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and drive operations. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a bridge in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it symbolized something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the substance behind a logo design is just as important as how it brands the company it stands for.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

A logo layout featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly knew the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a location to sell off their used items to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their White Settlement logo design dsign utilizing an illustration that captures the attention of vehicles and projects an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo design has actually a field included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo idea wasn’t actually developed for an White Settlement area farm it was really designed for a commodities broker, and this particular business logo was one of many which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was to produce an identity that projected assurance, effectiveness, and luxury.
Logo created for using an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript typeface that is evocative a famous sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted dozens of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked directly with the proprietor to design a business logo which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
