Brigham City Logo Design

Each and every new Brigham City company understands that they need a logo, but few entrepreneurs fully understand the pivotal role their business logo can take in their financial success, or why one logo design works far better than another. A business logo has an immediate and lasting impact on the growth of a company, choose the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the life of an organization. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Brigham City companies succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand consideration, they can be realized in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Retro logo style of a bike created for a Brigham City coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually opening in an older section of the town and hoped to cast a retro vibe without coming across as boring or low energy. I achieved each of the tasks via developing a logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide as well as bacteria designed for Brigham City clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that analyzes the causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine that deals with the laboratory assessment of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the only instance I recall in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, however it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more appealing, more interest grabbing and even more memorable.

logo layout with a leaping environment-friendly frog developed for a family enjoyable center in Brigham City.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental practices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the business features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a more dynamic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Brigham City traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but instead project emotional journeys through the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they oftentimes convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be revealed with mere words. I tried to do something very similar to this logo by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Brigham City logo but also to show the depth of her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Brigham City logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design projects that I take on I genuinely relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but my customer, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man genuinely hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family did not share his hatred for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge all of them to share it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get honest assessments on the value of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they really loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that tend to hire an expert to design their logo realize how crucial a logo design is for their company so they are way more vested in the outcome. Every logo project possesses it’s portion of challenges, but the most significant obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, style for Brigham City book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow piece of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most crucial part of a printed book because it is in most cases the primary thing a person views in the book store. For a publisher, it’s the opportunity they will ever get to promote their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart nevertheless it seems like that in many cases 1 of the items folks often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest new venture commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a sense of airline flight and it was surely a winner.

Brigham City logo design made use of for advertising and marketing as well as a tag layout for Vintage Instance features an old-fashioned font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in all new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be antique cases. For this brand design I sought to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could easily be used for every thing from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different era.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Brigham City, style include an arc with lines intersecting through it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental business logos can be one of the most difficult logo design projects considering that it appears that every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to business marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dentists do every one of their logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would most likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I really love doing dentistry logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a family not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 characters surprised in height to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the families in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution hopes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo design which communicated that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to summarize how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that describes itself will never have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo style developed for a hair layout workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo which projected a spirit of calmness and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept which didn’t go the obvious course of designing merely a stylized orchid but alternatively delivered a logo that suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is more often than not the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the attention on the perception that they wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo designed a one-of-a-kind organization logo design styled to embody the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of horses. By having a different head shape and high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the most quite easily recognizable horse types in the entire world.

Logo style for a software application designer the design attributes and renowned element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and disk managing. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a connection in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it represented something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the substance behind a business logo is equally as important as how it serves the organization it represents.

A logo layout featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly recognized the market was ready for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a location to market their previously owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Brigham City logo design dsign with an image that garners the interest of traffic and projects an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo layout has an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo concept wasn’t really produced for an Brigham City area farm it was actually designed for an investments broker, and this creative logo was one of multiple which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to generate a graphic that projects assurance, success, and wealth.
Logo made for the use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript typeface that is evocative a renowned sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed dozens of restaurant logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked directly with the business owner to design a business logo that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
