Payson Logo Design

Every new Payson venture realizes that they need a logo, but few entrepreneurs fully are aware of the key role their business logo will play in their success, or why one logo design performs far better than another. A logo design has an instant and long-term influence on the success of a business, choose the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Payson businesses succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require scrutiny, they can be understood in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will be legible and just as emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo style of a bicycle developed for a Payson coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffee shop were opening in an old part of town and wished to project an old-fashioned feel without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled both jobs by designing a trademark concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a ageless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and germs created for Payson clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which researches the root causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the field of medicine which works with the laboratory assessment of samples of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I call to mind in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves quite literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and much more memorable.

logo layout with a jumping green frog designed for a family members enjoyable center in Payson.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental professionals, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to feature a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a more dynamic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - made for Payson traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche field because travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but rather communicate emotional journeys by means of the photos they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of the majority of professional photographers in that they often tell whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something the same to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Payson logo but also to show the depth of her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Payson logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design projects that I take on I really enjoy and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A but the customer, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy really hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family did not share his hatred for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge all of them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get unprejudiced point of views on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they really liked the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their logo realize how essential a logo is for their business so they are much more invested in the final result. Every logo job has it’s share of challenges, but the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Payson publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped segment of real estate to work with, but it is the most necessary part of a published book considering that it is in most cases the initial thing a person sees in the book shop. For a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will ever have to advertise their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart yet it seems like that in many occurrences 1 of the items people often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller new venture commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a spirit of air travel and it was certainly a victory.

Payson logo layout utilized for marketing and also a tag design for Vintage Situation includes an archaic font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that looked to be much older cases. For this business logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could be used for everything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another point in time.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Payson, style include an arc with lines converging via it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can be one of the most difficult logo projects due to the fact that it seems that each and every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business marketing, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental practitioners do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really love doing dentist business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a design that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 personalities startled in height to represent a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to explain specifically how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If people have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that explains itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo style created for a hair style workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a company logo which conveyed a sense of tranquility and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious route of creating simply a stylized orchid but rather designed a company logo which implied a flower in the formation of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the logo design using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is frequently the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the emphasis on the perception that they wanted to transmit to their customers.

Arabian equine logo design produced for a steed ranch that specializes in breeding Arabian program steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created a one-of-a-kind organization logo design styled to manifest the unique physical traits of the Arabian type of equines. With an unique head shape and very high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the very most quite easily identifiable horse lineages in the entire world.

Las Cafe logo style a tiny dining establishment, style includes a changed manuscript font style which floats over a group of elaborate lines and dots.

Logo design for a software application designer the layout features as well as iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive managing. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a connection between the software and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it symbolized something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the meaning supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the business it stands for.

Progress logo style developed for a Payson interior designer, style attribute a collection of red circles that intersect and replace the letter O in the center of the logo design.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

Evolv Design is a Payson interior design company and this logo design is representational of the work that an interior designer does in. logo style done for Advanced Management Solutions, the characters for letter V and A in middle of the word advanced have actually been modified to tie straight into the words listed below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Payson logo design project was completed for a leadership guide that enables business professionals to become more efficient at supervising people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo design featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly realized the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a spot to sell off their used products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Payson logo design dsign utilizing an image which grabs the interest of vehicles and sends an image that wakens the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo layout has actually an area included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand idea wasn’t actually designed for an Payson regional farm it was really developed for a commodities broker, and this particular trademark was one of a handful of which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was really to design an identity that projects self-confidence, effectiveness, and luxury.
Logo design designed for the use of a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font style that is similar to a renowned sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted quite a lot of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked directly with the owner to create a business logo which worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
