Linton Hall Logo Design

Each and every new Linton Hall venture understands that they require a logo, however few new business owners entirely recognize the vital role their organization logo will play in their success, or precisely why one logo design performs more effectively than another. A business logo has an instant and lasting effect on the financial success of a company, select the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of a business. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Linton Hall businesses succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand consideration, they can be realized in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will stay legible and equally emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be timeless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo style of a bicycle produced for a Linton Hall coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffeehouse were opening in an old section of the city and really wanted to visualize an old-fashioned tone without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled both tasks by developing a logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and germs created for Linton Hall medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that studies the root causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare that deals with the laboratory examination of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I recollect in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Generally I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more interesting, more interest grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping green frog created for a household fun center in Linton Hall.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the types of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental professionals, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to include a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a better lively high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and a tree - designed for Linton Hall traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche field due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but instead reveal emotional journeys through the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to use negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of most professional photographers in that they often tell whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something similar to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Linton Hall logo design but also to illustrate the depth in her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Linton Hall logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design projects that I take on I genuinely savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A however my customer, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy truly disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members did not share his scorn for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge them to discuss it with friends and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial point of views on the value of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they really loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logo designs are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to create their logo understand how vital a logo is for their organization so they are way more vested in the end result. Every logo design project has it’s portion of obstacles, however the biggest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, style for Linton Hall publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender parcel of real estate to work with, but it is the most necessary part of a printed book due to the fact that it is usually the initial thing a person views in the bookstore. For a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity they will likely ever get to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart but it seems like that in many cases one of the aspects consumers tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small new venture commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a feeling of flight and it was surely a success.

Linton Hall logo style made use of for advertising and marketing as well as a tag design for Vintage Case includes an old font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, which looked to be vintage cases. For this logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old style feel to it and could easily be utilized for every thing from a web site to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another era.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Linton Hall, design include an arc with lines converging through it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging logo design projects considering that it appears that every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to business marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dental offices do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would most likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really love doing dental logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a design that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a family members nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 personalities startled in height to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to explain how people should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo layout developed for a hair style studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo design which carried a feeling of ease and elegance for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept that didn’t go the obvious route of crafting simply a stylized orchid but rather created a business logo that suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured into the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is oftentimes the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the main focus on the perception that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Logo style for a software program developer the style attributes and also iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive managing. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a bridge in between the software program and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it symbolized something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the substance supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it represents.

A logo design including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly realized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a place to sell off their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Linton Hall logo dsign utilizing an illustration which pulls in the interest of traffic and sends an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo design has actually an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo design wasn’t really composed for an Linton Hall area farm it was actually devised for a products broker, and this particular trademark was one of a handful of that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was really to design a brand mark that projected confidence, success, and prosperity.
Logo design designed for using an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is similar to a well-known sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted loads of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked closely with the owner to design a logo design that worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
