Manassas Park Logo Design

Virtually every new Manassas Park business knows they need a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely are aware of the essential role their organization logo can perform in their becoming successful, or the reason that one logo performs more effectively than another. A business logo has an immediate and sustaining influence on the financial success of a business, go with the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the longevity of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Manassas Park companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require scrutiny, they can be realized in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and equally emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle produced for a Manassas Park coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffee shop were actually opening in an old part of the town and hoped to project a nostalgic tone without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished the two tasks by designing a company logo concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and also germs developed for Manassas Park medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that examines the causes and effects of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare that deals with the clinical examination of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the only instance I recall in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Generally I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves quite literally, but it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more appealing, more focus grabbing and more memorable.

logo layout with a jumping eco-friendly frog created for a household fun center in Manassas Park.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental offices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to feature a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a better dynamic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and a tree - made for Manassas Park traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector because travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but instead reveal emotional journeys through the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo concept was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of the majority of professional photographers in that they often share whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something much the same to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Manassas Park logo but also to show the depth to her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Manassas Park logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design projects that I take on I truly enjoy and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A however the client, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy really hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family did not share his hatred for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage all of them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get honest assessments on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their logo design understand how crucial a logo design is for their organization so they are way more invested in the outcome. Every logo design project has it’s share of challenges, however the greatest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, design for Manassas Park publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped segment of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most vital part of a printed book given that it is in most cases the primary thing a person sees in the book shop. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the opportunity they will likely ever have to promote their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go nevertheless it seems like that in many cases one of the items people usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to conferring a feeling of airline flight and it was surely a success.

Manassas Park logo style utilized for advertising and marketing and also a label design for Vintage Instance includes an antiquated font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be older cases. For this business logo design I tried to come up with a logo that had a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a web site to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another point in time.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Manassas Park, layout consist of an arc with lines intersecting via it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can be one of the most challenging logo projects due to the fact that it appears that virtually every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to business marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the exact same way dental professionals do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I actually love doing dental care business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a design that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a household nonprofit, the logo design features 4 characters surprised in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to illustrate specifically how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo layout created for a hair layout studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo design which projected an atmosphere of ease and elegance for their new hair studio. I created a design that didn’t go the obvious path of crafting merely a stylized orchid but rather delivered a logo which suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is more often than not the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the emphasis on the emotion that they wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Arabian equine logo design developed for a horse cattle ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian program equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo developed a one-of-a-kind custom logo concept tailored to embody the unique physical traits of the Arabian type of equines. With an identifiable head form and very high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the highly quite easily recognizable horse breeds in the entire world.

Logo layout for a software developer the layout features as well as iconic component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and disk management. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a bridge between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it intimated something to the owner of the business and in many cases the substance behind a company logo is just as important as how it brands the organization it represents.

A logo design featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly knew the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a spot to sell off their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Manassas Park business logo dsign using an image that seizes the interest of vehicles and projects an image that wakens the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo style has a field incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo idea wasn’t really produced for an Manassas Park regional farm it was really designed for a products broker, and this particular business logo was one of many that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to create a graphic that projects trust, effectiveness, and wealth.
Logo design created for using an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font style that is similar to a famous sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed dozens of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked directly with the business owner to develop a logo which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
