Meadowbrook Logo Design

Each and every new Meadowbrook organization knows they need a logo, however few new business owners fully recognize the pivotal role their logo can make in their becoming successful, or precisely why one business logo functions better than another. A logo has an instant and sustaining influence on the prosperity of a business, go with the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Meadowbrook businesses prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require consideration, they can be realized in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and equally emotive at any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be timeless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.

Retro logo design of a bicycle developed for a Meadowbrook coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and bistro were opening in an old part of the town and hoped to visualize a nostalgic tone without coming across as boring or low energy. I achieved each of the tasks via creating a business logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo design with a microscope slide as well as bacteria developed for Meadowbrook clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that analyzes the root causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare that deals with the laboratory examination of specimens of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I call to mind where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Normally I try not to be overly literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, however it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more appealing, more interest grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo style with a leaping green frog created for a family enjoyable facility in Meadowbrook.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental professionals, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more lively high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Meadowbrook travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche profession because travel photographers don’t capture places or things but instead project emotional experiences by means of the photos they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of almost all good photographers in that they often convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with mere words. I attempted to do something much the same to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Meadowbrook logo design but also to illustrate the depth in her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Meadowbrook logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design jobs that I take on I honestly relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but my client, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man seriously disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family did not share his scorn for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to share it with friends and family as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get objective point of views on the value of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they adored the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their business logo understand how crucial a logo is for their company so they are way more vested in the end result. Every logo job possesses it’s share of obstacles, but the biggest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Meadowbrook book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow parcel of real estate to work with, however it really is the most necessary part of a printed book considering that it is in most cases the first thing a person views in the book shop. Regarding a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity they will likely ever get to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart however it looks like that in many instances one of the things consumers usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller start-up commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a feeling of airline flight and it was certainly a winner.

Meadowbrook logo style made use of for advertising and marketing and also a tag style for Vintage Case features an old-fashioned font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, that appeared to be antique cases. For this brand design I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid retro feel to it and could be used for everything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another generation.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Meadowbrook, style include an arc with lines converging through it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can easily be one of the most difficult logo jobs because it seems that virtually every dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would probably include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I really enjoy doing dental business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a family nonprofit, the logo features 4 personalities staggered in height to represent a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to illustrate exactly how people should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout produced for a hair layout studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a business logo which related a feeling of tranquility and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious route of making just a stylized orchid but alternatively created a company logo that suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the logo design using the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is frequently the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately placed the emphasis on the perception that they wanted to transmit to their customers.

Arabian horse logo style developed for a steed cattle ranch that specializes in reproducing Arabian program horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo developed a one-of-a-kind business logo concept customized to illustrate the unique physical traits of the Arabian pedigree of horses. By having a distinctive head shape and high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the most immediately identifiable equine types in the whole world.

Las Coffee shop logo style a tiny dining establishment, design consists of a changed manuscript font which floats above a team of ornate lines and dots.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Cafe logo layout a small restaurant, design consists of a modified script typeface which floats above a group of luxuriant lines and also dots.

Logo style for a software program programmer the layout attributes as well as renowned aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and hard drive operations. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it represented something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the significance supporting a logo design is just as important as how it serves the organization it stands for.

Progress logo style developed for a Meadowbrook interior developer, layout function a series of red circles that converge and change the letter O in the middle of the logo style.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

Evolv Design is a Meadowbrook interior design company and this logo design is representational of the work that an interior designer does in. logo design done for Advanced Management Solutions, the characters for letter V and also A in middle of the word progressed have been customized to tie straight right into the words listed below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Meadowbrook logo design assignment was performed for a leadership expert that enables business leaders to develop into more effective at managing people, expectations, and profitability.

A logo style featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly realized the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to sell their previously owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Meadowbrook business logo dsign along with an illustration which garners the attention of traffic and projects an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo design has an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo design wasn’t actually designed for an Meadowbrook area farm it was really designed for a products broker, and this brand was one of multiple that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to produce a graphic that projected esteem, financial success, and prosperity.
Logo design created for making use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript typeface that is similar to a popular sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created quite a lot of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking where I worked directly with the proprietor to design a logo design which worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
