Bellevue Logo Design

Virtually every new Bellevue business knows they require a logo, however few entrepreneurs fully understand the pivotal role their logo can make in their success, or precisely why one logo design performs more effectively than another. A company logo has an instant and sustaining influence on the success of a company, pick the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of a company. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Bellevue businesses prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require deliberation, they can be understood in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will stay legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle created for a Bellevue coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee shop were opening up in an old part of the city and really wanted to visualize a retro feel without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished both of these tasks by means of designing a trademark design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

clinical logo design with a microscope slide as well as germs designed for Bellevue medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which studies the causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare which deals with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the only instance I recollect in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be extremely literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, yet it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more captivating, more attention grabbing and more memorable.

logo design with a leaping green frog developed for a household enjoyable center in Bellevue.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to feature a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and a tree - designed for Bellevue travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area because travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but rather communicate emotional journeys through the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they oftentimes share entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Bellevue logo design but also to show the depth to her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Bellevue logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design projects that I take on I honestly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A but the customer, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy truly loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his aversion for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage them to discuss it with colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get impartial opinions on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Business logos are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to design their business logo realize how important a logo is for their company so they are way more vested in the result. Every logo design project has it’s portion of obstacles, but the largest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Bellevue book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender parcel of real estate to work with, but it is the most crucial part of a printed book because it is ordinarily the primary thing a person sees in the book store. With regard to a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity they will ever get to promote their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart yet it seems like that in many occurrences one of the things consumers often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest fledgling commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a sense of flight and it was definitely a success.

Bellevue logo design utilized for advertising and marketing as well as a tag design for Vintage Instance includes an archaic font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for musical instruments, which seemed to be much older cases. For this custom logo concept I sought to come up with a logo that had a fluid vintage feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different era.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Bellevue, design consist of an arc with lines converging through it to imply steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs considering that it seems that every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company branding, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dentists do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I really love doing dentist logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a design that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a family members not-for-profit, the logo features 4 personalities staggered in height to represent a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to illustrate precisely how people should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that illustrates itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo style created for a hair design studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a company logo which communicated a sense of relaxation and connection for their new hair studio. I came up with a design that didn’t go the obvious course of creating merely a stylized orchid but rather crafted a logo design that implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is generally the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately put the importance on the perception that they wanted to transmit to their customers.

Arabian horse logo layout produced for an equine cattle ranch that focuses on breeding Arabian program horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created an original custom logo concept styled to symbolize the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of equines. By having a distinctive head shape and higher tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the highly quite easily identifiable horse types in the whole world.

Las Coffee shop logo style a little restaurant, style consists of a changed manuscript typeface which floats over a team of luxuriant lines as well as dots.

Las Cafe logo design a small dining establishment, style contains a modified manuscript font style which hovers over a group of elaborate lines and also dots.

Logo design for a software program developer the design features as well as renowned element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and hard drive managing. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a connection between the software program and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it symbolized something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the substance supporting a company logo is just as important as how it serves the business it represents.

logo design done for Advanced Leadership Solutions, the characters for letter V and also A in center of the word progressed have actually been customized to connect straight into the words listed below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This Bellevue logo design project was carried out for a management guide that enables business leaders to become more efficient at supervising people, expectations, and profitability.

A logo style including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly understood the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to sell off their secondhand goods to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Bellevue logo dsign along with an illustration that captures the attention of vehicles and projects an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo design has actually a field included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem concept wasn’t really designed for an Bellevue regional farm it was in reality devised for an investments broker, and this particular logo was one of multiple which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to generate a graphic that projects self-confidence, effectiveness, and opulence.
Logo made for the use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is reminiscent of a popular sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked closely with the business owner to develop a logo design that worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
