Bellevue, Washington Logo Design

Nearly every new Bellevue organization realizes that they are in need of a logo, but few new business owners are thoroughly aware of the essential role their business logo will play in their financial success, or the reason that one business logo works better than another. A business logo has an immediate and sustaining effect on the financial success of a company, select the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life of an organization.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Bellevue, Washington businesses prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand deliberation, they can be comprehended in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo style of a bike produced for a Bellevue, Washington coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffee shop were actually opening in an older section of the community and hoped to visualize a vintage atmosphere without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished each of the jobs via creating a business logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo design with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs created for Bellevue, Washington medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which investigates the causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which works with the laboratory assessment of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the sole instance I recollect where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves quite literally, however it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo style with a jumping eco-friendly frog designed for a household fun facility in Bellevue, Washington.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental professionals, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - designed for Bellevue, Washington traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche field due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but rather convey emotional experiences by means of the images they capture. The thought behind this logo composition was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of almost all professional photographers in that they oftentimes convey whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with mere words. I made an effort to do something much the same to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Bellevue logo design but also to illustrate the depth of her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Bellevue logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design jobs that I take on I seriously enjoy and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A however my client, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man truly despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family didn’t share his hatred for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage all of them to discuss it with colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get objective opinions on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they really loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a strange creature in the design world because the people that tend to hire an expert to create their logo design recognize how essential a logo is for their company so they are way more vested in the result. Every logo job possesses it’s share of difficulties, however the largest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Bellevue, Washington publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, yet it is the most crucial part of a printed book given that it is in most cases the initial thing a person sees in the bookstore. Regarding a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will ever have to promote their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go yet it seems that in many cases 1 of the items people tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young start-up commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their business logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a good sense of flight and it was surely a success.

Bellevue logo layout used for advertising and marketing as well as a tag layout for Vintage Case includes an old-fashioned typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, that looked to be much older cases. For this logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that had a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be used for everything from a website to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another point in time.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Bellevue, Washington, style include an arc with lines converging via it to indicate metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo jobs considering that it seems that every single dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company branding, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dental professionals do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I actually love doing dental care logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and subsequently I created a design that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 personalities surprised in height to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution hopes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to describe specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If you have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that describes itself won’t have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo layout developed for a hair layout workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo which communicated a spirit of serenity and connection for their new hair salon. I created a design which didn’t go the obvious route of making merely a stylized orchid but instead created a logo which implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the concept with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is oftentimes the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the importance on the emotion that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Arabian steed logo layout developed for a horse ranch that concentrates on reproducing Arabian show horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo designed a distinct business logo concept fashioned to display the unique physical traits of the Arabian pedigree of horses. With a different head shape and high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the most quite easily recognizable equine lineages in the world.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Cafe logo design a tiny dining establishment, layout contains a customized manuscript font which hovers over a group of luxuriant lines as well as dots.

Logo style for a software program designer the style features and renowned aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive management. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a bridge in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it represented something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the meaning supporting a logo design is equally as important as how it brands the organization it stands for.

Progress logo design produced for a Bellevue, Washington interior designer, style feature a series of red circles that intersect and also change the letter O in the center of the logo style.

logo design provided for Advanced Leadership Solutions, the characters for letter V and also A in middle of words advanced have actually been modified to tie straight right into the words listed below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This Bellevue, Washington logo design assignment was completed for a management specialist that enables business leaders to develop into more efficient at managing people, expectations, and profitability.
A logo style including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly recognized the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a spot to sell off their used equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Bellevue logo design dsign along with an illustration which pulls in the attention of vehicles and sends an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually an area integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo design wasn’t really produced for an Bellevue, Washington regional farm it was really developed for a products broker, and this particular company logo was one of many which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was really to make a brand mark that projects confidence, effectiveness, and prosperity.

Bellevue Logo design for a nonprofit, Turning Factor Solutions - the logo layout attribute for outwardly encountering arrow and the arrowheads imply that it is a diamond shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what kind of logo design they preferred, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it grants a designer the flexibility to delve into any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s hard to hit a bullseye without knowing where exactly the target is. Luckily, in this particular case, I struck a bullseye with the 1st shot.

Logo made for making use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script typeface that is reminiscent of a well-known sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created dozens of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project in which I worked closely with the proprietor to develop a logo design which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
