Bellevue Logo Design

Virtually every new Bellevue organization understands that they need a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely realize the crucial role their company logo will play in their financial success, or why one logo design functions more effectively than another. A company logo has an instant and long term impact on the growth of a business, select the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, select the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of a company. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Bellevue businesses succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand contemplation, they can be understood in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will be legible and just as emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design needs to be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo style of a bike created for a Bellevue coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and cafe were opening in an older part of the area and hoped to cast a nostalgic vibe without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished each of the jobs by means of developing a logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and also germs made for Bellevue clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that studies the root causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine that deals with the laboratory examination of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the only instance I remember in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves rather literally, but it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more appealing, more focus grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo style with a leaping green frog created for a household enjoyable center in Bellevue.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dentists, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the company has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to incorporate a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a much more lively high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design including a flock of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and also a tree - made for Bellevue travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture places or things but rather reveal emotional journeys by means of the images they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they frequently convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with mere words. I made an effort to do something the same to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Bellevue logo but also to illustrate the depth to her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Bellevue logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design jobs that I take on I seriously savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but my client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man truly despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members didn’t share his contempt for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge all of them to talk about it with colleagues and family as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get unprejudiced assessments on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a strange creature in the design world because the people that tend to hire an expert to create their logo design comprehend how essential a logo design is for their organization so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo project possesses it’s allotment of difficulties, however the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Bellevue publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin piece of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most critical part of a printed book considering that it is ordinarily the very first thing a person views in the bookstore. Regarding a publisher, it’s the best opportunity they will likely ever have to publicize their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart yet it seems that in many instances 1 of the traits folks tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller start-up commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a sense of airline flight and it was surely a victory.

Bellevue logo layout utilized for advertising and marketing and a label layout for Vintage Instance features an old typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for musical instruments, which seemed to be vintage cases. For this business logo design I strove to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another era.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Bellevue, layout include an arc with lines converging with it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can be one of the most challenging logo design jobs considering that it appears that almost every dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company marketing, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would most likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really love doing dentistry logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a family members nonprofit, the logo design features 4 characters staggered in height to stand for a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the folks in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution hopes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to explain how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the chance to be understood.

Logo style produced for a hair style studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo design that related a feeling of calmness and connection for their new hair salon. I created a design which didn’t go the obvious direction of designing just a stylized orchid but rather crafted a logo that suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is usually the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the emphasis on the emotion that they wanted to forecast to their customers.

Arabian equine logo layout developed for a horse cattle ranch that focuses on reproducing Arabian show steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo crafted a one-of-a-kind logotype concept fashioned to symbolize the unique physical traits of the Arabian pedigree of equines. By having a distinctive head shape and higher tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the highly quite easily recognizable horse types in the whole world.

Las Cafe logo design a small dining establishment, layout consists of a customized manuscript font which hovers over a team of ornate lines and also dots.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo design a little dining establishment, design consists of a customized manuscript font which floats above a group of ornate lines and dots.

Logo style for a software application developer the design functions and iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive management. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a bridge between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it intimated something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the significance behind a business logo is just as important as how it serves the company it represents.

Progress logo layout developed for a Bellevue interior developer, layout feature a series of red circles that converge as well as replace the letter O in the middle of the logo layout.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

A logo style including an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly knew the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a spot to market their secondhand equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Bellevue logo dsign along with an image that pulls in the attention of traffic and projects an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo style has a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo idea wasn’t really designed for an Bellevue area farm it was really designed for a commodities broker, and this logo design was one of a handful of which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to generate a brand mark that projected trust, effectiveness, and affluence.
Logo developed for using an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font style that is evocative a renowned sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted loads of restaurant logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking where I worked directly with the business owner to design a logo which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
