Green Bay Logo Design

Virtually every new Green Bay business realizes that they require a logo, but few new business owners entirely recognize the crucial role their logo can perform in their financial success, or why one business logo functions far better than another. A business logo has an immediate and sustaining influence on the success of a business, go with the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, go with the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of an organization. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Green Bay companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand scrutiny, they can be grasped in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will be legible and just as emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design should be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.

Retro logo style of a bike developed for a Green Bay coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and bistro were actually opening up in an old section of the community and wished to visualize an old-fashioned feel without coming across as boring or low energy. I accomplished the two tasks via developing a logo concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also germs developed for Green Bay medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which examines the root causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine that deals with the laboratory examination of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the sole instance I recollect in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Generally I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents quite literally, yet it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and more unforgettable.

logo layout with a jumping green frog developed for a family enjoyable center in Green Bay.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental offices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to integrate a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more lively high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and a tree - created for Green Bay traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche sector because travel photographers don’t capture places or things but rather project emotional journeys through the images they capture. The thought behind this logo design was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of the majority of professional photographers in that they frequently share entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with mere words. I tried to do something similar to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Green Bay logo design but also to show the depth to her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Green Bay logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A however the client, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy genuinely hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family did not share his contempt for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage them to share it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get impartial opinions on the value of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they really liked the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logos are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their business logo understand how important a logo is for their company so they are way more vested in the end result. Every logo design job possesses it’s share of hurdles, but the largest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, style for Green Bay book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow segment of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most critical part of a published book because it is often the initial thing a person views in the book store. For a publishing company, it’s the opportunity that they will likely ever have to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart yet it seems like that in many instances 1 of the traits consumers often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller new venture commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to conferring a feeling of airline flight and it was surely a success.

Green Bay logo style used for marketing and a label style for Vintage Case features an antiquated typeface style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, which appeared to be much older cases. For this business logo design I strove to come up with a logo that offered a fluid retro feel to it and could easily be used for every thing from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different generation.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Green Bay, style consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can easily be one of the most difficult logo projects considering that it seems that almost every dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business marketing, if restaurants approached their branding in the very same way dentists do every one of their logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really enjoy doing dental logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and subsequently I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a household nonprofit, the logo includes 4 characters surprised in height to represent a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the families in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution hopes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to illustrate specifically how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo style produced for a hair design workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a business logo that related a spirit of ease and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a design which didn’t go the obvious route of crafting just a stylized orchid but alternatively crafted a business logo that suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the concept with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is more often than not the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the focus on the feeling that they really wanted to project to their patrons.

Arabian steed logo design developed for a horse cattle ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian show equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created an original business logo concept tailored to embody the unique physical traits of the Arabian breed of equines. With a distinctive head shape and high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the very most immediately recognizable horse lineages in the entire world.

Logo design for a software designer the design functions and also legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive operations. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a connection in between the software program and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it symbolized something to the owner of the business and in many cases the substance behind a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the organization it stands for.

A logo style featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly realized the market was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a location to sell their previously owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Green Bay business logo dsign along with a graphic which pulls in the attention of traffic and sends an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo design has a field included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand idea wasn’t actually created for an Green Bay area farm it was in reality devised for a commodities broker, and this particular business logo was one of a handful of that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to make an identity that projected esteem, success, and opulence.
Logo design made for the use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font style that is evocative a famous sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project in which I worked directly with the proprietor to develop a logo which worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
