Kaukauna Logo Design

Nearly every new Kaukauna business knows they need a logo, yet few entrepreneurs entirely realize the pivotal role their business logo can take in their financial success, or exactly why one logo design works better than another. A business logo has an immediate and long term effect on the prosperity of a business, choose the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the life span of a business. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Kaukauna companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require scrutiny, they can be grasped in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will remain legible and just as emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo needs to be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from now.

Retro logo style of a bicycle created for a Kaukauna coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were actually opening up in an old part of the city and wanted to cast a vintage vibe without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished both tasks by means of developing a logo design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide as well as bacteria made for Kaukauna medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that investigates the causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of medicine which works with the laboratory evaluation of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I remember in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves quite literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more interesting, more attention grabbing and much more memorable.

logo style with a leaping green frog designed for a family fun center in Kaukauna.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental experts, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to feature a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a better lively high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design including a group of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and a tree - created for Kaukauna traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I think it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but rather communicate emotional journeys by means of the pictures they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of most professional photographers in that they often convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something very similar to this logo by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Kaukauna logo design but also to show the depth of her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Kaukauna logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design projects that I take on I truly savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but my customer, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man really despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family didn’t share his aversion for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge all of them to discuss it with colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased opinions on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a strange animal in the design world because the people that tend to hire an expert to design their business logo realize how crucial a logo is for their business so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo design job has it’s share of difficulties, but the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, style for Kaukauna book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most vital part of a printed book because it is ordinarily the very first thing a person views in the book store. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity they will likely ever get to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart however it seems like that in many cases 1 of the things folks usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller fledgling commuter/shuttle airline situated in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a feeling of air travel and it was undoubtedly a winner.

Kaukauna logo style made use of for advertising and a tag style for Vintage Situation includes an old-fashioned font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for music instruments, which appeared to be antique cases. For this logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that had a fluid retro feel to it and could be used for every thing from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another generation.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Kaukauna, layout consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can be one of the most difficult logo design projects because it appears that virtually every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company advertising, if restaurants approached their branding in the very same way dentists do every one of their logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would probably include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I actually love doing dentistry logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a design that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a household not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 characters staggered in height to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the families in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to illustrate how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo design produced for a hair design studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo that carried a feeling of peace and elegance for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept which didn’t go the obvious route of crafting merely a stylized orchid but rather created a company logo that implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird floating above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is usually the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the importance on the perception that they really wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo design for a software program developer the layout functions and renowned component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and drive operations. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a bridge in between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it meant something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the significance behind a company logo is just as important as how it brands the enterprise it represents.

A logo design including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly knew the market was ready for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a place to market their secondhand items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Kaukauna logo dsign utilizing a graphic which garners the interest of traffic and projects an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually a field integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo design wasn’t actually composed for an Kaukauna regional farm it was actually created for a products broker, and this business logo was one of many that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to produce a graphic that projects self-confidence, financial success, and affluence.
Logo design developed for making use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font style that is evocative a popular sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted quite a lot of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking where I worked closely with the owner to design a business logo that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
