Menasha Logo Design

Virtually every new Menasha company realizes that they require a logo, yet few new business owners entirely are aware of the key role their organization logo can perform in their financial success, or exactly why one business logo works more effectively than another. A logo has a critical and long-term influence on the success of a business, go with the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Menasha businesses prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand contemplation, they can be realized in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will continue to be legible and equally emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be timeless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle developed for a Menasha coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually opening up in an older section of the town and really wanted to visualize a retro tone without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished each of the jobs by means of creating a company logo design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide and bacteria made for Menasha clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which analyzes the triggers and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare that works with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the only instance I remember in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be extremely literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents quite literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more captivating, more attention grabbing and a lot more unforgettable.

logo design with a leaping environment-friendly frog created for a household enjoyable facility in Menasha.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to integrate a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - created for Menasha traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche field because travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but rather convey emotional journeys by means of the images they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to use negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of good photographers in that they oftentimes convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with mere words. I tried to do something very similar to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Menasha logo but also to show the depth of her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Menasha logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design projects that I take on I truly enjoy and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but the customer, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man truly despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members didn’t share his aversion for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge all of them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased opinions on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his whole family and they adored the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their logo design recognize how crucial a logo design is for their organization so they are much more invested in the result. Every logo project possesses it’s allotment of challenges, however the biggest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Menasha book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin segment of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most vital part of a published book considering that it is often the initial thing a person views in the book shop. Regarding a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will likely ever have to advertise their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart but it seems like that in many instances one of the things individuals often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller start-up commuter/shuttle airline situated in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to conferring a good sense of airline flight and it was certainly a victory.

Menasha logo design used for advertising and marketing and also a label design for Vintage Case features an archaic font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be much older cases. For this business logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that had a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could be used for every thing from a web page to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different generation.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Menasha, style include an arc with lines intersecting through it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo projects because it appears that virtually every dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business branding, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dental professionals do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I actually love doing dentistry business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a household nonprofit, the logo includes 4 personalities startled in height to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the families in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to explain how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that describes itself will never have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout developed for a hair layout studio featuring a script font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a company logo which related a spirit of tranquility and elegance for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept that didn’t go the obvious path of creating simply a stylized orchid but instead delivered a business logo which suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl featured into the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is more often than not the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the importance on the perception that they really wanted to transmit to their clients.

Arabian horse logo layout developed for a steed ranch that concentrates on reproducing Arabian program equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo designed a unique logo concept tailored to illustrate the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of horses. With a different head shape and high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the most quite easily identifiable horse lineages in the whole world.

Logo style for a software program designer the design functions and famous aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive managing. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a bridge between the software and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the meaning behind a company logo is equally as important as how it serves the organization it represents.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly recognized the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a spot to sell off their previously owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Menasha logo dsign with an image that garners the attention of traffic and projects an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually a field incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem design wasn’t actually designed for an Menasha area farm it was in reality designed for an investments broker, and this particular trademark was one of many that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to design a graphic that projects self-assurance, effectiveness, and luxury.
Logo design made for making use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript typeface that is evocative a popular sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking where I worked directly with the business owner to produce a logo design that worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
