Sun Prairie Logo Design

Every new Sun Prairie organization understands that they are in need of a logo, however few new business owners thoroughly grasp the essential role their logo can make in their success, or why one business logo works more effectively than another. A logo design has a critical and long term effect on the prosperity of a company, go with the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of a business. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Sun Prairie businesses succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand deliberation, they can be comprehended in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will continue to be legible and equally emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bike created for a Sun Prairie coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were opening in an old section of the town and wished to visualize a vintage feel without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished both tasks by creating a business logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo layout with a microscope slide and germs made for Sun Prairie clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which researches the triggers and consequences of diseases, especially the field of healthcare that works with the laboratory assessment of samples of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the only instance I remember where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves rather literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more appealing, more attention grabbing and more memorable.

logo design with a leaping environment-friendly frog created for a family fun facility in Sun Prairie.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental offices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the business features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more dynamic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and also a tree - developed for Sun Prairie travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche field because travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but instead reveal emotional journeys by means of the pictures they record. The thought behind this logo design was to make use of negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of almost all professional photographers in that they oftentimes convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with mere words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Sun Prairie logo design but also to show the depth in her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Sun Prairie logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design projects that I take on I genuinely savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A however my customer, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man really disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family did not share his aversion for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge them to talk about it with friends and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get honest viewpoints on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they really liked the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Business logos are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their business logo realize how vital a logo design is for their business so they are way more invested in the result. Every logo project possesses it’s portion of hurdles, but the most significant challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, layout for Sun Prairie book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, but it really is the most important part of a printed book due to the fact that it is in most cases the primary thing a person views in the book shop. For a publishing company, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will likely ever get to promote their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart however it looks like that in many cases one of the traits individuals usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small start-up commuter/shuttle airline situated in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a good sense of flight and it was surely a success.

Sun Prairie logo style utilized for advertising and marketing and a tag design for Vintage Situation features an archaic font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for musical instruments, which looked to be older cases. For this custom logo design I sought to come up with a logo that provided a fluid retro feel to it and could easily be utilized for every thing from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different point in time.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Sun Prairie, design consist of an arc with lines converging with it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can easily be one of the most difficult logo design jobs because it appears that each and every dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental practitioners do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really love doing dental care logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a household not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 personalities startled in height to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the families in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to summarize specifically how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo design that explains itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo layout produced for a hair style studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a company logo that related a feeling of calmness and class for their new hair studio. I created a concept that did not go the obvious course of making just a stylized orchid but alternatively created a business logo that suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is usually the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately placed the focus on the perception that they wanted to transmit to their clients.

Arabian steed logo style developed for an equine cattle ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian program steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo designed an original business logo design styled to display the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of horses. With a distinctive head form and high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the very most easily recognizable horse breeds in the whole world.

Las Cafe logo design a tiny dining establishment, style includes a customized script font style which floats over a team of luxuriant lines and also dots.

Logo design for a software program programmer the style features and legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive operations. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a connection between the software and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it meant something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the meaning supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it serves the business it represents.

Advance logo design created for a Sun Prairie interior designer, layout attribute a collection of red circles that intersect and replace the letter O in the middle of the logo design.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

logo style done for Advanced Leadership Solutions, the characters for letter V and also A in middle of the word advanced have been modified to tie straight right into words below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This Sun Prairie logo design project was completed for a leadership expert that aids business leaders to become more successful at supervising people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo style including an angler in the center of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly understood the market was ready for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to market their secondhand equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Sun Prairie logo dsign using an image which captures the attention of traffic and sends an image that calls to mind the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo style has actually a field integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem concept wasn’t actually produced for an Sun Prairie regional farm it was in reality created for an investments broker, and this particular trademark was one of many that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to produce a graphic that projects assurance, success, and luxury.
Logo design created for using a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font that is similar to a popular sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed quite a lot of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project in which I worked directly with the proprietor to design a logo that worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
