Weston Logo Design

Nearly every new Weston business knows they need a logo, however few entrepreneurs entirely recognize the key role their company logo can make in their success, or precisely why one logo works far better than another. A company logo has an immediate and long term influence on the financial success of a business, pick the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Weston businesses prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand consideration, they can be comprehended in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will stay legible and just as emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

Retro logo design of a bike developed for a Weston coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee bar were launching in an older section of town and really wanted to visualize a vintage vibe without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I accomplished both of these tasks by developing a logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a ageless business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria created for Weston clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which investigates the causes and effects of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare that deals with the laboratory assessment of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the sole instance I recall where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Usually I try not to be overly literal with a design and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, however it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more interesting, more interest grabbing and more unforgettable.

logo design with a leaping eco-friendly frog created for a household fun facility in Weston.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental offices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to integrate a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a flock of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - designed for Weston traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but instead communicate emotional journeys by means of the images they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they oftentimes tell whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with mere words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Weston logo design but also to illustrate the depth in her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Weston logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design jobs that I take on I truly relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but the client, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy seriously disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members didn’t share his contempt for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to talk about it with friends and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get unprejudiced point of views on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they really loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to design their logo understand how crucial a logo design is for their business so they are way more invested in the final result. Every logo job possesses it’s share of difficulties, but the most significant challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, design for Weston book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender slice of real estate to work with, however it really is the most necessary part of a printed book since it is ordinarily the primary thing a person sees in the book store. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the opportunity they will ever have to advertise their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go yet it seems like that in many occurrences 1 of the items folks often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their business logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a good sense of air travel and it was certainly a victory.

Weston logo style used for marketing as well as a tag design for Vintage Case includes an old-fashioned font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, that looked to be antique cases. For this custom logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different era.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Weston, layout include an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental business logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that each and every dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the exact same way dental practices do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would probably include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I actually love doing dental logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a family members nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 personalities surprised in height to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to illustrate precisely how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that illustrates itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo style developed for a hair design workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo which communicated a sense of contentment and connection for their new hair studio. I created a design that did not go the obvious direction of crafting simply a stylized orchid but rather designed a logo that suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is oftentimes the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the emphasis on the feeling that they wanted to project to their customers.

Logo style for a software program designer the design attributes as well as renowned component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk operations. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it intimated something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the symbolism behind a logo design is equally as important as how it serves the business it stands for.

A logo layout featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly realized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a spot to sell off their secondhand products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Weston logo dsign utilizing an image which garners the attention of vehicles and projects an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually an area integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo idea wasn’t actually created for an Weston regional farm it was actually devised for a products broker, and this business logo was one of a handful of that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was actually to generate a image that projected confidence, success, and luxury.
Logo design designed for using an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script typeface that is evocative a famous sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created loads of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked directly with the business owner to produce a business logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
