Casper, Wyoming Logo Design

Virtually every new Casper organization realizes that they need a logo, however few entrepreneurs fully grasp the vital role their organization logo can make in their financial success, or exactly why one business logo performs better than another. A business logo has an instant and lasting effect on the prosperity of a company, pick the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of a business.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Casper, Wyoming companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand consideration, they can be grasped in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design needs to be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo design of a bicycle developed for a Casper, Wyoming coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were opening in an older part of the town and really wanted to cast a nostalgic vibe without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I achieved both of these jobs by means of creating a trademark concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide and also germs made for Casper, Wyoming medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which researches the causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare that works with the clinical examination of specimens of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the sole instance I recall in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents rather literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more appealing, more interest grabbing and a lot more meaningful.

logo style with a leaping environment-friendly frog developed for a family members enjoyable center in Casper, Wyoming.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental professionals, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to include a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a better lively high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design including a flock of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and a tree - developed for Casper, Wyoming traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but instead communicate emotional experiences by means of the photos they record. The idea behind this logo design was to make use of negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they often share entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with mere words. I made an effort to do something the same to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Casper logo but also to show the depth in her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Casper logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design jobs that I take on I truly savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A but the client, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy seriously despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members didn’t share his hatred for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge all of them to share it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get honest viewpoints on the value of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logos are a strange animal in the design world because the people that tend to hire a professional to design their logo understand how vital a logo is for their company so they are way more vested in the final result. Every logo job has it’s share of challenges, but the greatest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, layout for Casper, Wyoming publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin piece of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most vital part of a printed book because it is usually the primary thing a person views in the bookstore. Regarding a publisher, it’s the opportunity that they will likely ever get to promote their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go nevertheless it seems like that in many instances 1 of the items people tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest new venture commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and while I’m not certain it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to confering a sense of airline flight and it was undoubtedly a success.

Casper logo style used for advertising and marketing and a tag layout for Vintage Instance features an old-fashioned font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be older cases. For this logo concept I sought to come up with a logo that provided a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could easily be used for everything from a website to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different era.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Casper, Wyoming, design consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can be one of the most challenging logo design projects considering that it seems that almost every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental offices do every one of their logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I actually really love doing dentist logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a household not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 characters startled in elevation to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to illustrate specifically how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that describes itself won’t have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo layout produced for a hair layout studio including a script font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a company logo that conveyed a spirit of calmness and elegance for their new hair salon. I came up with a design that didn’t go the obvious route of creating simply a stylized orchid but rather created a logo which implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is generally the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the importance on the emotion that they really wanted to project to their clients.

Arabian equine logo layout developed for a horse cattle ranch that focuses on breeding Arabian program horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo design for a software program programmer the design functions as well as legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and drive operations. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a bridge between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it meant something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the significance behind a logo is just as important as how it brands the company it stands for.

A logo design including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly realized the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a place to sell off their pre-owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Casper business logo dsign along with a graphic which garners the attention of traffic and projects an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo design has actually a field integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo idea wasn’t actually designed for an Casper, Wyoming area farm it was actually created for a products broker, and this particular trademark was one of several that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was to design a brand mark that projected self-confidence, success, and prosperity.

Casper Logo design for a not-for-profit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo style attribute for outwardly facing arrowhead as well as the arrowheads imply that it is a ruby form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what kind of logo design that they preferred, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the liberty to investigate any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye without realizing where exactly the target is. Thankfully, in this particular instance, I struck a bullseye with the 1st go.

Logo designed for making use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font style that is similar to a famous sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed loads of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking where I worked directly with the business owner to produce a logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
